is this compatible with summer cars? they recently implemented their own repair system but i'm not sure if it's for the engine only or for the exterior pieces as well. Right now I have his repair on and your salvage car mod enabled. Is that good?

These changes will be for B42 only. Making it work for B41 would likely take way too much time. I will still continue to add general repair and salvage support for B41.

Big changes to how the repairs work are coming soon! Here's an overview of some of the things to expect:

- Instead of just standing in place at the engine, the character will walk to the part you're repairing, like you do when installing a part.

- Different animations and sounds will be used depending on the repair you're doing. If a repair requires a tool to perform, it will be equipped before starting the repair. The item model will also be shown in the characters hand in most cases.

- Welding repairs will actually need a welding mask and is worn by the character before starting the repair.

- Tag support so repairs that use something like a hammer can use any type of hammer for example.

- Repairs can use things like needles without being consumed.

For anyone that prefers the old, less detailed system, a sandbox option will be available.

That could be because other mods you use updated their fixing recipes for 42.12. I believe if any fixing recipe is the wrong format then they all break. If you're sure this is the only mod you use that uses fixing recipes, make sure Steam didn't validate your files and replace them with the latest version or something.

You're awesome. Your response to the critical errors caused by the mod after an update is genuinely amazing. Also, it's insane you actually posted the previous version of your mod for those of us who know how to "revert" a beta build, i really wish all modders would do that. It'd be nice if modders would just start having like, a google drive folder of all their mod's versions for those of us who play past builds. Anyways, keep up the good work.

right clicking the vehicle menu on a tire (trying to pump it up) results in hundreds of errors, and no context menu appears.

Also, I'm holding off on adding repair options for the parts from Project Summer Car as the dev is in the process of adding their own system for repairing them.

I may add some salvaging options for the parts though.

I've fixed repairs on vanilla vehicles but for some reason if you install any vehicle mod it throws an error and breaks repairs completely and I have no idea why

yes the salvage options still appears, its the repair option on individual parts that doesnt work. as well as removing parts, below mech 3 you cant do anything when before you could take all the parts off.

no, it doesnt work with modded cars and trailers and the semi truck mod. i also have mods that add durability to weapons and a mod that makes wood and metal lighter. will those affect this mod and make it not work?
