The mod was good for what it was, but what a whiny ass description.

I have some crashes when using the mod. Are there known incompatibilites?

Hey, you may have noticed that yesterday Elzephor's Wedding Expanded mod went online. This mod allows weddings in the form of activities, similar to feasts.
Your mods would complement each other perfectly, as his mod is more in-depth, but yours is more immersive and aesthetic. Maybe you guys can connect sometime.

There's nothing wrong with funny events and what Paradox is included, but your addition is brilliant. I prefer "Why not both?" over hating one and loving the other.

I like the mod. So I have suggestions for update. Bit more options for prices of weddings-and decorations at hall according to the price, same with amount of prestige gain . Ideally there should be wedding feast in court hall and wedding in church, but i think it'd be lot of work to add a chapel.

I would like to see a proportional benefit in the dynasty renown based on how much was spent on the wedding and the host's court level. So the higher your court and the more you spent the more renown you earn. Seems to be inline with the expected behavior of weddings

Where is the german localization?

Man, you should change the location of the marriage in a Church, and add related events that after the wedding there will be a feast (as it was used) and then a bedding ceremony, where maybe the new bride would have 25% changes to become pregnant

I am getting a lot of errors for this mod in the error log. They all seem to relate to the court scene groups.

The only in-game effect seems to be that the three characters appear to be in random positions, so the groom is sometimes staring adoringly at the priest.

PS also not really important, but a couple of files are not encoded in UTF8-bom and the scripted_triggers file is blank.

The money sink is strong on this one. A wedding shouldn't cost 300 gold, or even 75 gold. The returns for such investment are negligible.

1. You'll need an editor for YML-files, I recommend 'Visual Studio Code'.
2. You'll have to navigate to your steam installation folder and there down to
\steamapps\workshop\content\1158310 (which is the folder for CK3) \2752360349 (which is the folder for simple weddings) \localization
3. Copy the folder 'english', paste it and rename it to 'german'
4. Move to the new folder an rename the (only) file 'simple_weddings_l_english.yml' to 'simple_weddings_l_german.yml'
5. Open that file, empty its content and paste the whole text from 'Deutsche Übersetzung' in it.
6. Save and close the file.
From the next start of CK3 the german translation for simple weddings will be active.

When your dynasty is big (like playing as a Karling), you end up getting event spammed.

how i use the german transition?

*me just realizing they released a big old Court DLC and didn't even think to include cool coronation, knighting, or wedding scenes*

I second Lucas182, I would like to only receive the event for my children. Also, is there a way to increase the renown I receive for paying for all? I don´t think 1 renown is enough for paying more than 500 gold for a wedding. At least I shoudl receive court grandeur and prestige as well.

Also found a bug if you start 1066 with the byzantine empire and the then 60 year old emperor needs to remarry then the event will trigger but no one is there to perform or vsit the ceremony. Probably happens at other locations too

I agree with @Lucas182 limiting the scope to yourself and Sons and Daughters and maybe brothers and sisters would defnitely be welcome, another thing is if they are landed or married to a landed character I think they should be getting married at their court not yours or atleast give us the option for that and maybe an option to then visit that court

Is there a way to limit the scope of the wedding mod to just your sons and daughters? It gets annoying if you have a large family, with the amount of grandchildren getting married left and right.

Coronations would be awesome too. :(( When I become king or emperor it's only saying "You are a migthy emperor!" And that's all. No court scenes, no coronation scenes. Zero roleplay mechanics. Paradox is sleeping. They are missing great opportunities.

For some reason, I'm getting the event firing twice in a row when marrying. Possibly a conflict with something else, but I've seen a couple other mods that are also getting multiple pop-ups in their events.

Would it be possible to make it so when lets say my daughter marry a king from a different country that we get a choice if the marriage is done at my court or at his court and if we choose his court that we then see the court of him instead of our own it would make it a bit more realistic and would add a lot more for us Roleplayers

@Seventh Heaven, idk since the dlc only introduces a royal court and no other places its the best that we can do :/, you could pretend or rp in urhead that this is after the wedding at the church and this is the party back in your court. Just a thought, this is an extremely nice mod.

@raguel: Sure, although I think soon the large overhaul mods will probably have them (at the very least Kingdom of Heaven is working on such things).

Nice idea, but in the medieval period, nobility got married in churches, or chapels... not court rooms. But neat mod anyways.

pretty good mod, although i feel like you shouldn't be given an option to host a marriage if its your daughter getting married to someone else, unless its a matrilineal marriage
