whens the transformations gonna be toggles?

They could at least add a custom pose to mimic the classic Dragon Ball pose.
If you take the 3rd idle pose and add both arms flexed, it would look like the classic Dragon Ball power pose.

One day we will see an update. One day.

Is this getting an update in the future? Would love to see the form menus so we at least dont have to hold the transformations, cause dont mind having to hold the melee and Ki techniques.

I really, really hope this updates.

understood, thanks for the response, my favorite mod on starbound by a long shot since saiyans are my favorite fictional race.

Honestly, I would've loved to do both Saiyan NPCs and Planet Vegeta, but I do not have enough coding knowledge required or artistic skill to create an entire design and framework for a whole planet to do so, and on the Saiyan NPCs part without any help, I'd probably end up breaking the game in a similar way of how I tried doing the Frackin support (it did not work)

any plans on Saiyan NPCs in the future?

I've figured out how to make transformations be toggle/persistent buffs instead of held-buff items, so expect an update soon

Gonna be also nerfing the costs for ki essence (and ssj forms alike) and make it craftable for any race, because I'm not sure why tf I didn't do that before, and edit how the forms look like and revamp the hairstyles altogether

Warning ahead of time that I'm picking back the mod up, my life 'stabilized' enough for me to get back into this

Can't gurantee anymore FU patches (they already exist out there anyways) cause everytime I've tried to create a FU patch it kept crashing the mod, that combined with my previous computer dying and me losing all the progress of the recent update I was working on had killed my mood for it for a bit, but I'm back to it now

On a funny note, I realized that clicking the buff items let you keep the transformations, I have no idea what CAUSES that, but I might make that the main method of transforming, just have to work around it

Altarex, how does the ACTUAL spirit bomb work?

Yeah that's right you gotta CHARGE that thing until the reticle is green.
It takes like 25ish seconds and breaks ground tiles with it's explosion

I stopped playing starbound for a bit. decided on waiting for this mod to develop further. I'm somewhat sad that this mod is probably not gonna get updated anymore.

So is this still being worked on, or has it been abandoned?

Actually, I figured out how to fix it, I'm gonna upload the fix for now, if you fix it and want me to take it down I will. Apparently servers don't like the "path" : " " in the transformation activetem builderConfig. What I did was make a blank dummy image for each animationPart to look at and set the path to look at then.

Any way to get this fixed on servers? Right now, the transformation items fail to instantiate on server start, so if you try to use them on a server, you crash.

I found a dead (And I do mean DEAD.) planet. And I was thinking to myself:
"Damn! It sure would be cool if I could repopulate the Saiyan race on this planet!"
So are Saiyan tenants a thing? I can't find the info on the internet.

not sure why the forms wouldn't be applied as a head item until this supposed form menu is completed
not being able to use 80% of the weapons in the game is definitely a heavy drawback

i think ki is meant to drop from enemies but idk tbh

i haven't tested compatibility with other races so uhhhhhhhhhh you'll probably have to find out for yourself also to craft them you'll have to enter admin mode because although they're meant to be craftable for all races the developer did an oopsie

will this also have the dracomis race race compatibily issue?
otherwise any way to have the rest craftable without a race lock?
