Good source of information are cab rides on Youtube. I always look for these videos to see the traffic and also static trains and waggons in stations. But at the end it is a compromise between reality and interesting ride from player point of view.

Yes I thought about adding some Freight in as moving AI but I'm not 100% familiar with what freight runs on the DB network to make it as realistic as possible. Something I'll be looking into in more depth in future for my German scenarios.

I enjoyed this ride. At the entrance to Bingen there was red light so I need to stop and probably missed some opposite traffic?. The KI traffic could be enhanced by more freight trains.
