how long dose it take to sink

For some reason it doesn't let me sail. I turn on the engines and stuff and nothing happens.. am i doing it wrong?

rooms not in use are on purpose to reduce the amount of lag, no need for all the rooms to be furnished.

sink button is a key on the floor below the lights

fuel should auto feed as far as i can remember but is maybe better to look at the workshop page for the fuel system which is linked.

there is a screen with controls for the heating on the back wall of the bridge. If your sinking, hope and pray. Or if you brought the chase boat with you then use it for escape

no. Best thing is to just keep making ships and trying different layouts and designs. Remember keep centre of gravity low, keep heavy items like engines batterys and fuel down low in the hull.

You can also sink if you have the weapons DLC, works quite well if you're rping striking a reef etc. I will say she is a beautifully engineered ship (better than most), I shot at it to create accurate damage and was surprised to see she didn't go under in 2 minutes like most...with a 35 degree list over to Port and down by the head she limped back into South Sawyer for repairs. A true testament to her builders at the Creaghalls Shipyard :D

if youre wanting to rp a sinking you could add some pumps to move water in and air out

The Ship Wont Really Sink, I Did The Things The Comment Mentioned Below, Like Opening Doors Around The Ship To Allow The Air Inside To Escape But Yet Theres No Water.

I think it’s because of the update for space dlc which changed all of the fluid physics. This hasn’t worked properly for sinking in a while. You need to open doors as well around the ship to allow the air already inside to escape as the water fills the space

when i scuttle the water doesnt come through the little doors on the bottom. Is it because i usually have waves?

On spawn? or are you doing something to cause it to flip. This thing is annoyingly hard to flip in my experience

-for best speed use infinite fuel, iirc the top speed in the description isnt achievable now because of the changes to fluids in the space update
-i hate furnishing, my least favourite part
-to sink you just need to turn the key to open the scuppers, this is another thing that doesnt really work properly since space update. You will need to go and open doors around the ship so that as water enters air can escape

As faer as i can remember this doesnt have stormlink. if you want tho you could add the stormworks details to the seats and then use it as you would other creations. All the stuff on how to do it is on the stormlink page iirc

I have looked at adding Liferafts using the inflatable liferaft addon, but so far I havent had time to properly add it on to the ship. It may get done eventually but idk when. As for changing the layout I wont be making any changes. If you want a lifeboat you could use the chase boat, tow it behind the ship and use it as a tender, and then have it in case of emergency

@creaghalls i got some bad news on my sever house of misery the sever was on your cruise ship having fun and then started to sink and then the sever crashed after some time from something what im saying is that there isnt enough lifeboats we got attacked on the roof and we lost the only lifeboat could you change the balconeyes to small lifeboats and still leave the boat up there incase we loose the top one?

I dont have the time or interest to get back into this game enough to understand the whole new physics issues, to add in some sort of ventilation system is a massive amount of work. If I dont do it quick enough feel free to do it yourself, or alternatively just open a door

yea thats the space dlc has done that, Im not gonna be retrofitting any venting systems to any of my stuff cus it would just take far too long and too much space, best thing is just leave a door open

The ship needs H-vac, I keep dying if I leave the bridge or bottom decks sealed.
