Add two folders, one called Content and the other called 42.
Do not add anything inside the folder called content.
Copy the files icon.png, mod.info and poster.png and then paste them inside the 42 folder.
This makes the mod show up in the mod manager, but I couldn't get it actually working correctly from that point.
I believe it is possible in MP, as they have a system/mod that allows you to communicate with other players over the walkie while it is on your belt.
If this is true then it should be possible, therefore someone needs to make a mod for it (out of my skill capacity).
Once they're set I can't change them.
I was wondering if your mod could work with TV's also?
I am not a codder so excuse my naivety on this idea, but would it be possible to add a frequency setting for TV's as it seems that there is also a hard limit to the amount of TV channels possible on each TV listing. This would match up with possibilities in reality and could potentially allow the use of unlimited TV channels assuming we have the frequencies of the TV channels, modding all TV's to have random TV channels saved would not be needed in this instance. Ideally the frequency band would need to span from 3 up to 6 digits.
Your advise and knowledge would be appreciated as being a novice I would need to know its possible before investing time into the project.
It would be good to disable the button for adding a frequency unless the radio is on a preset.
Other works fine, MP 41.78
@PoliceOfficer_Chan, it should work in mp since it's just a clientside interface modification but no guarantees, haven't tested it there that much.
Be careful when defining the channel in options, I added some basic validations but if you try hard enough you can probably break it. It must follow the syntax in examples. Between it being parsed in lua and the various limitations that the sandbox options have, it's the best I could do.
