DRIVES VERY SLOWLY #FIX
I found a work-around to the tractor always shifting to 4th gear which made this mod difficult to use.
I have tested:
- the tractor (with attached plow)
- the tractor (with nothing attached)
and it works like a charm!
I simply installed the mod "Better Car Physics" alongside this one and the problem went away!

P.S.
As a perk, this mod also has a setting in the options menu that lets you drive with manual gear shift! (BUT if you don't enable that, it drives in auto)! Awesome!
From a dead stop, there's about a 50% chance the tractor will try to start in 4th gear. In the event it does start in 1, it will shift to 4 fairly quickly, often before it should switch to 2. It seldom reaches 2 properly, I've yet to see it hit 3.
4th gear has no torque - I'm not hauling anything through a field like that.
