The soviets werent exactly better than america when it came to civil liberties but atleast the founding ideals were something to strive for, even if they strayed for them, and they DID get to space before the united states

in today's day and age having the first man in space is a far better accomplishment than the first man on the moon
the Soviets also Won the "We had better Weaponry" race.
Which is different to the cold War also knoWn as the "arms race".
the soviets Were far better than the americans.

I am anti-communist but I think Sovietwave is more about the high-minded hopes and dreams of the people of the Eastern bloc than the excesses of the governments. I am sorry the west threw the Soviet people under the bus in the wake of the collapse. They didn't deserve that.

My political views aside, since this is a Communist-themed mod, I think it needs more yellow and less black, wouldn't you agree?
You could also replace the "Work" tab icon with the Hammer and Sickle.

Never thought I'd end up reading the rants of illiterate furries and bronies when I made this mod.

Please keep the thread relevant to the theme, I'm deleting political comments and if there are too many I'll simply disable the function.

Whether the theme is dystopian or utopian or whether one man's dream is another man's nightmare is highly subjective. The ability to project one's subjective thoughts in Rimworld is part of what makes the game so great.

If you can enjoy the theme in a 'negative' way I don't mind as long as you enjoy it. I tried to keep it as 'apolitical' as possible knowing that not everyone thinks like me.

I ask you to do the same in the comments. What was a 'nightmare' to you was and is a 'dream' to many.

You mean all of us being slaves and varying between starving to death and cruel brainwashing by a state that sees us as cogs in a machine? Or maybe going to jail for speaking against the state?

(This is a really pretty and well-made Theme, BTW. Dystopian concepts look great. I love the electronic red style!)
