Could you fix up the foraging zones? Many roads and areas are either wrongly labeled or dont have a zone.

Does the interior layout/general layout of things randomly change with each map generation or is it set?

@iCloadty Unfortunately if the map has loaded incorrectly it will require a new save for it to work. :cherrypie:

I think it could be a mod conflict cause it was working earlier. But I removed all the mods I added after i've seen it working. And I still have the same issue. It looks like some chunks of map are missing or not loading correctly. What can I do?

@iCloadty Could be missing one of the tile packs or they haven't properly loaded, easy to do on servers. Could also be a mod conflict, hard to say. :cherrypie:

For some reason in my multiplayer safe buildings are not loading correctly. Anyone know why?

quite a few rooms in buildings are missing light switches and a few others have bugged roof sections that appear when inside the house.

Not sure if it was intended, but apparently the .txt files ("pack_items") for the map's custom items share the exact same name for the .txt files for Shark's Weapons Pack (which is also "pack_items"). I typically load maps after items and vehicles, so Ekron's files kept overwriting SWP's and led to the weapons to not spawn at all.

A simple rename fixed that, but I just wanted to bring that up to the mod author if they weren't aware of it.

But not bad enough to figure it out on your own, huh? Not hard. Firstly, it's literally right over the down that the devs like to call Lickskillet. Secondly, the first picture shows where it is on the game map, so compare that with the map provided on the PZ website. Thirdly, I provided the cells back on 6 Oct, 2023 and it's currently on page 4 of the comments if you had bothered to even look at them.

That's what is wrong with todays generation, they need everything handed to them instead of doing the work to get the results themselves.

hey just installed my mod but i got a couple question marks that are red floating around the green house but i have all the tile pack is there anything extra i may be missing

@Resident NATO Freedom Enjoyer - The room definitions are set from the base game definitions so we can't increase or decrease loot found, just lucky or using another mod that affects that kinda loot such as gun mods :cherrypie:

Feels like there is way more loot than loot settings on my game would normally have. I mean even for extra loot this seems excessive. I've found an arsenal of guns, tools, books, and metalworking stuff in random houses and sheds to the point that it would look like I had looted a PD station and a warehouse. Is this normal?

update, i figured out the issue. there is a setting in base zomboid called "double-sized textures" that i did not have enabled. once that setting was enabled, the visual bugs were fixed.

As a former Linux user i know there can be many compatibility issues that come up with games but i don't know if that can affect mods, if you know how to check your logs look for any errors and also asking other Linux user in the official Project Zomboid discord server might also help. :cherrypie:

i'm noticing a lot of visual bugs in ekron with this mod, such as walls of certain buildings stretching across the road long past their hitboxes, and boxes seemingly beneath the floor. i am using linux, if that's important.

I really like this map, just wondering if there is an online map anywhere, also i loved the lawful Falafel restaurant, are there any other secrets like that in the town of Ekron?

it's a more than decent map, among my favourites despite the light switches issue.
the inn is fantastic, and i can only recommend setting up base there! (it does have all the switches)

@vedxsx We do often forget to add switches, its a small thing to do so can be easily overlooked. We may be making some fixes to stuff that gets broken when the B42 update drops so if we're able (and remember) we will take a look at the buildings and try add the switches in :cherrypie:

a lot of the houses don't have light switches even in important places like bathrooms without windows. and sometimes cars spawn in really weird places like almost glitching into walls. it's not really a game breaking thing cause the rest of the map looks pretty good

@Timescape312 If you load a singleplayer game with all the required mods are active and the walls are their and working fine then it is likely to be a server issue. From what id imagine probably one of the tile packs not being loaded thus any walls used from that pack being broken.

Just added this to a private server with friends, and noticed some of the walls didnt load correctly and allow zombies to just wander into most buildings (the logging company, a warehouse north of it). Dont know ifs a known bug or something on our end.

Well designed and revitalisation of the map. Major deal breaker though MP wise, is no Loot Respawn. Feels like it wasn't configured properly. Only place it does respawn is the medical centre cabinets.

The map is cool, but I prefer the original, the little lag bug, even enclosed with walls at 100%, in the middle of the night, a Zombie walks on the water and bites me, then Zombies pass through certain barriers or a wall of house and warehouse next to the gas station.

BUG: The house (I unfortunately chose as base) does not have any light switches inside.

House NW of school, the one with 3 door garage next to it.
