The puzzles were good though, I did enjoy them!
The biggest problem we had was that some of the sockets were super temperamental and difficult to use. We lost several keys in walls when trying to use them, and while we were able to retrieve most of them by painstakingly shoving our avatar into the cabinetry, we were ultimately unable to complete the final step, because the door ate the crowbar! . If possible, it would be nice to have keys respawn where they started. If that's not possible, perhaps you could have a place where spare copies of the various keys are kept so people can still complete the game without having to restart.
Nice balance between finding items and logic puzzles. Very innovative way to create pseudo two floor(?) house. The only downside is the lag due to the engine.
I managed to glitch through the jail cell in the cellar so that might be why I'm a bit confused. After completing the recipe for the concoction of truth, I got the potion but it was not used. Also, there was a wooden box on the mantle of the magicked fire but I could not find the passcode for it. I assumed it was their anniversary date 528, but that didn't work. Do you mind helping answer my queries?
I've added a solid object directly beneath all floors, so that hopefully if an item falls through you can still grab it.
I've also added a warning at the beginning of the game.
Thats a big miss. :("
If you mean the cupboard door in the kitchen, that is meant to close after delivering all the ingredients, its not a bug ")
As for keys falling through the floor, it seems to be an Escape Simulator problem... I've seen some other creators implement some creative solutions, I'll see what I can do about it on my end :)
After open the Door with the right KEy, it opened and closes after dropping all stuff.
Thats a big miss. :(
on the Second time my Partner unlocked the Conservatory Room and the door hit me, catched me bugged me that i could not move and play anymore.
So nice what you did, but the bugs are horrible. But maybe it is a foult from the game that this could happen.
the atmosphere was great and the puzzles were all unique and so much fun to do
we've only encountered a single bug: when you go to a certain spot in the study you can activate the trigger from the stairs, teleporting you downstairs
overall it's easily one of the most creative rooms we've played, really well done!
Maybe make the cellar in the same way as the stairs? You can use an "empty floor" in the editor and build a staircase below the floor. The painting puzzle was really fun!
