When i launch Cookie clicker the mod says server not found, I have everything installed and updated

I thought this would be complicated because of the people struggling, it was a download and a few clicks/ key presses
I do wish it showed prestige but it's super neat as is!

Hello, I've seen a couple of people struggling to get the mod working, sorry about that! I've updated the mod and the app, as well as made startup scripts to make it easier to open the app.

Please download the latest release for the app here [github.com], as well as update your mod if you haven't yet.

Please also note that this release also officially announces support for Mac/Linux! I've done some good testing on linux but I currently don't have a Mac device right now, so if you're a Mac user and experience problems with the mod, please let me know here or on GitHub. Thanks!

the app doesnt open for me even after running as administrator

only started working for me after running the .exe as administrator
(maybe add to troubleshooting section on github ?)

also the read the guide tag in the notif in-game doesn't do anything
(going to the source code to manually find the guide, and seeing the image that shows the "welcome <username>" line in the terminal (that I was missing) is what made me think to run as admin lol)

If it is installed, make sure CCSE appears first in the list before Discord Rich Presence.

The mod is appearing in the mod folder in cookie clicker, but when I press enable nothing happens. It says something about a dependency called CCSE. How can I fix this?

yeah this program doesnt work. im on windows 11 if that means anything but yeah it just closes upon opening without doing shit

This mod is not outdated. Due to Orteil removing native rich presence support, the mod needs an app to be opened to send Rich Presence data.

The game's Discord functionality was disabled, so unless this mod can re-enable that and fix its issues somehow, it's not going to work.

@Stan2016 @Flacz, please make sure that you have CCSE installed as well, and make sure that CCSE is above Discord Rich Presence+. The "Discord Status" setting should be ON.

Also, make sure the settings for DRP+ shows up at the bottom of the Options page.

For me it works too much. It still counts time played on Discord when I close the game.

@Nahobino, unforunately no. that required modifying one of the game files and that falls out of scope of what the modding api of CC allows me to access

Is there a way to disable Discord rich presence entirely? I have CC running in the background while I play other games, and CC just completely takes over my status no matter what.

@Angelolz, i have my game activity on, just doesn't show all the extra data.

@Shdwkaiser, you may have Game Activity disabled.

You can go to Settings -> Activity Status -> Display current activity as a status message to see if it is.
