Yeah, only mods that change that file itself are incompatible.

I like this mod, can I lower the chance manually even more? Also: Are "Better Item x" mods incompatible? Or are only mods modifing that file, that are changing the pool itself?

Is this mod compatible with mods that add seperate item pools to things that don't have unique item pools.(ie: unique/special chest pools or more shell game items)

I'm not sure what you mean by Tarot Cloth+, unless that was a typo? Tarot Cloth is included as it's an item present in the game without mods.

Just making sure, would items like Tarot Cloth + be lowered? It's an original item, but it IS modified.

I'm currently focusing on other projects and I know something like that would take at least a day or so to make for me (considering all the compatibility patches). But I can help you with it, if that's okay. All you have to do is go to:

Steam\steamapps\common\The Binding of Isaac Rebirth\mods\lower chance of modded items_2708400188\resources-dlc3

Open up itempools.xml, then just multiply every value inside Weight by 2. 2 x 2 = 4, 0.2 x 2 = 0.4, and so on. Once you finish that for every item, modded items should be four times less likely to show up.

Yea, never implied it was a big deal or enything, it's just one thing that could be confusing to some, thats all. But, yea, I agree, having the inverse of the "all items are modded" is funneh.

I honestly don't think it's that big of a deal. Plus I wasn't sure what to use as a thumbnail so I decded to go with the inverse of the Higher Chance mod, thought it'd be kinda cool.

The main issue with lazing out and just grabbing HiHowAreYou's thumbnail is that a lot of the items the thumbnail shows are not modded items anymore....like Pop or Angelic prism.

I'd love to do something like that, but it's beyond my capabilities. Maybe someone more skilled in modding could do something like that.

It would be cool if either you or the original higher chance mod added config menu compatibility to adjust the chance, so you can have it be higher or lower to whatever degree you want.

I don't know how possible this even is, but a mod that could just let you adjust the weight of every item individually, base or modded, would be fantastic, but there are plenty of modded items I find balanced enough to be a regular part of the base pool, and then there's half the items from the Touhou mod.

Yes that's what I wanted, because I always play with mods and I wanted to appear more often the normal items in the game.
Good Mod
