there is a new mod API which allows you to manipulate voxels maybe it could also make destroying the grass voxels more accurate and less performance intensive

well its probably the settings you have
in my experience it works fine but can cause a worrying amount of lag with enough grass (as i set it to zero grass height and that is a factor in causing the lag]

Re: "I have a suggestion, maybe you could change the height from 0 to 5 on how much you can wack? " I'm not sure exactly what you mean. You can choose the height of the grass that is left. Only reducing the grass height by X compared to the starting height would be too much of a redesign.

I'm guessing I won't get to making a lawnmower as it sounds like a bit of work and I'm working on other mods.

I have a suggestion, maybe you could change the height from 0 to 5 on how much you can wack? Also do you think you could make a lawnmower? (No pressure you don't have to do this.)
