if you're making an epic new map, it'd be sick to see some more of your lil lore and story touches. environmental storytelling, graffiti etc.
makes the maps fun to explore with friends :)

Sadly there are no other more updated software to create map on Garry's mod, there's Hammer++, a modification made by a user that aim to make the software more modern, but even with this upgrade it's still very outdated compared to the more modern engine suc has UE5 or Unity

Actually the more you work on it and effort you put on it the more the map will be better than the old ones, I know making maps is genuinely hell but I get what you mean is there any new version you'll use instead of the outdated one?

making maps is often very loooong to do, and the software is so outdated it give me an headache most of the time

It's also my favorite Half-life game, I love the setting and the ambiance, I wish I have the time and motivation to create another map set in this game :p

i know its your decision to do that but i would crave for episode 1 themed maps since ep1 is my fav hl2 so far!!!

When I finish the roleplay map for Half-Life 2 roleplay, which will be my last Roleplay map too. I switch to sandbox map, and perhaps some Episode 1 themed map, Hl2 beta map, or something different, I gotta see after that :p

I got a big project in the making for a few months that might be interesting, and I hope I will finish it before the end of this year :p

The engine is so outdated that it just destroy itself at the simple sight of assets slightly better than the HL2 one, so I hope that my next maps will be working fine

Well, I have the bad new that I lost the finished .vmf, I can't find it in any of my harddrive or backup saves, it's just vmf of a very outdated version where nearly 50% of the map is missing.

So sadly, I might never fix the kleiner broadcast until I find the vmf.

Hello, I'm glad someone finally see all of the umbrella graffiti. Back then, each time there were a corpse of someone dead, an graffiti of an umbrella man was placed nearby, some sort of death reaper awaiting to claim thoses souls.

it's an interesting map. there's a lot of umbrella - holding interloper graffiti and i'm wondering if there's any specific story to what's going on in some of the more enigmatic areas of the map; like the area where the graffiti has spotlights on it and a few dead around.

The addon no longer require HL2EP1&EP2, you can now just download the addon and have fun with no issues, if it's not the case, please notify me.

Guess if the old mean to mount the Episodic assets is not fixed for everyone, I will update this map to pack all the necessary content in the .bsp

Either some Gmod update broke the kleiner speech, or some of your assets doens't have the kleiner speech, which I doubt it.
Maybe another Gmod breaking update

strangely the hl2ep1 kleiner speech doesn't want to work

kleiner appears and plays all the animations but no voice lines, in the console it says they're missing

This issue could be related to one of your addons that could conflict with one of the map's assets, try to disable some addons and try to load the map again

@mickle Probably the addon is disable, or the map did not download correctly, I recently had issues with unappearing workshop addons these days

I wish that the transmission wouldn't go out after I cancel logic timers in the devroom, but it still does. Makes setting up scenes for screenshots kinda annoying. Great Map, tho!
