I-401 got me into all things navy. I see this is as full circle for myself. Thank you.

also that the bottom pump rooms arent connected thus the pumps dont drain any water that enters the rooms

minor issues that i have found during testing that the searchlight button needs to be pressed twice to take effect and that one of the supercapacitors is not connected to the power grid

создатель привет ! Я на основе твоей лодки сделал свою))

Sounds like fun -- yeah, it is pretty lengthy. That thing with the ammo loaders and periscopes did strike me as a point people are going to love or hate.

I'll keep an eye on it if you find time and decide to change things around a bit!

for now still a bit too powerfull but had its bad moments as well, managing electricity is quite endearing, there is always something to repair, especially batteries. there are few blind spots for main guns but probably EDC covers them but i don't bother using them yet. Iona is preety long and that means she ,can't fit sometimes in holes that other ships can traverse with ease, as well as provides more perimeter for enemies to attack. since periscopes and loaders are on different floors it forces better cooperation between crew to fith effectively. it is a lot of fun :)

Ooops! Sure thing. Working pretty well for campaign?

@Luckspeare sorry but i only made campaing balance because friend asked me, the rest of the work and by that i mean whole sub is done by someone else. I am currently in the middle of a campaign using this ship and i saw some of the mistakes/misconceptions you mention and if i got some time i will make ajustments. wires and desining name for rooms will probably be my priority.
Anyways thanks for comments and poiting out all of those.

On symbols, if you tone town the whiteness to a duller grey, they fit in a lot better. Symbols on the junction boxes also look better at 0.1 scale instead of 0.2.

Overall, I'd find this to be a stellar design if it was cleaned up (wiring, region designations, big furniture made functional or removed, symbols fixed, etc.) and reconfigured (cargo areas moved out of the conning area, bridge moved a bit away from the central ladder closer to the security room, and electrical/engineering areas moved out of upper deck as much as possible).

You have ship regions designated really weird. These should be rationalized a bit. For example, almost all of the first two thirds of the ship is designed as "Lower mid", while the "Lower fore side" is properly in the lower fore side of the ship, except for that part of the conning tower that's also been joined with it. This part's pretty messed up.

The wiring management is pretty poor. It could do with some tidying up so you don't have diagonal wires crossing corridors all over the place.

The symbols are too large and look really awkward and out of place without backplates or something.

In the berthing areas, why bother having couches take up a whole bunch of space if they're not functional?

Pretty overall cool design, though there are a lot of little issues. First, the good. I really like the way you did the berthing/bunks area -- really clever and space-efficient. I like that there's a campaign-balanced version. The overall shape and color of the sub is very interesting, and you have a pretty clever use of the foreward ballast tanks.

There are some design choices I'd probably do differently. The bridge/command room is in the middle, right at the central ladder midships, and the front is pretty much wasted space. I'd rather have the bridge and armory together, myself.

The conning tower is 75% cargo storage, with a lot of wasted space, which seems like a poor use of that prime space. I'd rather have engineering and cargo storage tucked away from prime areas. And I'm a little torn about the periscopes vs. ammo loader placement, but I'm guessing some people like that.
