Because in l4d1 the common has different sound than l4d2, i wonder can you mix the l4d2 and l4d1 common infected together?

@RoyDJ The icon's a remnant of an old project of mine to make L4D2-style L4D1 survivor icons. Been a while since I worked on it, but if there's sufficient interest I might continue it at some point. Just takes a lot of work.

@SOY The full explanation is a bit more complex and harder to word so I just went with that. Basically, the part of L4D1's shotgun -without- the Scout's Scattergun mixed in is what they used for L4D2. So L4D1 did technically have the sound first, but the version without the Scattergun is more recognisable as L4D2's.

@adasdasd I think I know what you're talking about, and 1.) that's actually intentional, and 2.) it's not a result of the CS:S XM1014 sound mixed in there.

The CS:S distortion still sounds too overpowering compared to the original L4D1 mix.
