Stereo L4D1-Style Autoshotgun Sound

If you've got a keen ear, you might've realised that the L4D1 and L4D2 Autoshotguns have slightly different sounds.
You may have also realised that L4D1's is infinitely more kickass. So what gives? And why is the Scout's Scattergun in the thumbnail?

Well, there are a few things at play, but here's the biggest one: L4D1's Autoshotgun was created by taking L4D2's sound, and mixing it with the Scout's Scattergun. No joke - that's what they did.
So, I set out to fix that - but, you may ask, why not just directly transfer L4D1's sound over, if you want to use it so bad?

The reason is simple; whereas all of L4D1's sounds are mono, L4D2's are stereo.
If you aren't an audio nerd, stereo means that, in a sound, two different sounds play in each ear, one slightly different from the other. The result is a more "spacious" sound.

Luckily, L4D2's Autoshotgun and the Scout's Scattergun are both stereo, so I was able to mix them both together, do a bit of processing to make the volume profile match L4D2's a bit more, et voila - stereo L4D1 Autoshotgun.
