Its 3.2.2024 and there is still no large crane module, no vehicle recovery module or expedition module. So are they coming or not?

I can't even put the modules on the truck because when I use the selection grid and load the module it just deletes the truck and overwrites it with the module....

Is there a way to charge the propulsion batteries from an external cable connector? I've tried hooking up to the cable connectors I have found, but they do not seem to make any change on the batteries that move the truck. Is there some connector or button that I am missing, or should I just add my own connector?

Otherwise, love the truck. The amount of intricacy and thoughtfulness that went into it is amazing.

Someone brought this to my map today and I have to say there's a dozen and one things I don't like about it. Rn, I just want to try to make a helpful comment. Steering. You have 5 axles and are trying to steer with 3 of them, #'s 1, 2, and 5. This means that your chassis has a magic spot that is half way between axle #3 and #4, which is even-order so everything is .5 I tried to count the blocks between the axles, and came up with #1 = 32.5, #2 25.5 and #6 = -10.5. So the steering command to axle #2 needs to be X * (25.5 / 32.5)... To get really advanced take the width of the vehicle into account too and use Akerman steering...

Fantastic truck and modules!

The only thing that's challenging is loading onto to a boat or a plane lol. Even An-225 won't fit it nor anyone else's, it flips boats and ferries over, and it's juuuust a hair too wide for a flatbed rail car, even when I expand it it tends to tip over. Not a criticism, you didn't make the other vehicles or the physics engine, it's just funny.

Loving the truck! It's fast, it's stable, even over rough terrain, and it can take a few beatings and still be perfectly driveablr. (Other vehicles leaves you stranded if you hit a mouse too hard).
The only real problems I've had is when it falls on it's side, because then it's nearly impossible to right it back up again.

Ah I see, I'm just getting into the build so I don't know all this lol. I might find a good boat, make a module loader like DT40L said, but for the boat and have the module connector on the boat. The idea behind this is back the truck onto a dock, disconnect the module. Load it onto the boat, connect it. Then get to where I'm going and basically reverse the process.

An amphibious version of this truck is impossible. It needs 3 things for that: Sealed interior, low weight, low center of gravity (with the batteries removed for weight reduction). And this truck don't tick any of these boxes

one of these days i'm gonna make a module loader for this so that i don't have to cut and paste
