Any way this can receive an update? It doesn't work properly anymore. Targets just show up on the right side of the HUD regardless of location.

@zefir001 the female character model is shorter in seats so some aircraft either have a adjustable seat or the radar screen adjusts to the height

Somehow after recent game updates this HUD started to show targets higher than they are.
upd: fixed by changing to male character. Dumb game.

What to do to make it work :
1. Set constant value to 0.33 instead of 0.6
2. Move camera 1 block away from screen
3. Move other components 1 block away from screen
4. Paint all the components in black to lower the reflections

Nothing is bugged. Everything works fine but example setup you spawn is wrong,author please update it,people often get confused.

For future reference, don't put radars behind propellers. You can put them in the wing just fine, though.

Ah, I know what's happening. Somehow the code is picking up that "target 1" from the forward radar is active, even when it isn't. Send me the xml of the creation to my discord thatcoolcat1#1571 and I'll take a look at it tonight.

It says the target's at 0, 0. Do radars interfere with each other? It's about the only other thing I can guess might be the problem. I've got another one (longer range) mounted right behind this one, and it's also showing a target extremely close.

Within a certain range, it moves down over a valid target, then goes back up if the target is lost.

That was my guess as well, but I have no idea what it could be. It's in the nose of my plane, with pretty much just a light rotor as a prop in front of it. Could that be the issue?

Hmm, that's something I haven't seen before. I have no idea what that is. The controller itself is quite basic and is pretty much radar output to screen, so I assume that it's something with the radar.

I installed it into my plane with the camera fix you recommended (0.33 works for the FOV, by the way), and it constantly shows one target at the very top of the screen that doesn't move. It tracks other targets normally. Any ideas on what's wrong/how to fix it?

move camera back a block, and tune the FOV to have the yellow square be the outside pixel of the display. i did ti before, just didnt implement the fix in this post

This is currently broken, right? because I can't get the camera to show the monitor's image - instead it shows what's behind the screen, i.e. it's too closeto it. Same thing happens in the example. Any ideas?

yes, you can put the hud closer to you. currently this system is broken however thanks to the last update that changed how cameras work. eventually I will make a better version of this HUD

it should do up down just fine, BUT the offset from center will be incorrect. the player head isnt perfectly centered, and that offset is accounted for based on a 1x1 hud.

I tried plastering the video straight from the MC, and that looked nice, but I couldn’t get the proportions right of the pipper; it would follow the target near perfectly on the x-axis, but not go up/down nearly enough on the y-axis
