@puipuix, unfortunatelly the Lua code in my missile is encoded(minified). But I can say that I just calculated relative LOS to target by adding values of corresponding angular speed sensors and laser sensor angle to target(corrected), calculated LOS rate and done LOS rate smoothing using simplified Kalman filter(this part is necessary because angular speed sensors are inaccurate in SW) and then calculated output using PN formula (just LOS_rate * Nav_coefficient) and output it directly to fins.

@puipuix, I see you have put angular speed sensors on missile so why don't you try to make it proportionally guided? All needed sensors are already on missile. It is possible to make it much more accurate if you do so. For example, you can see my PN 1x1 YG-L1(laser guided) missile which leads the target.

understanding that this is primarily for use against air targets, could it also be an effective Ground To Air Missile? or is the acceleration speed simply too slow for it to just disconnect from a stationary target, since an air to ground missile already has the speed of the aircraft carrying it, perhaps if it were on a sliding rail as well? so it could build up speed and then disconnect.

If you are behind the target and not to far away it should hit. I'm not denying all critics, I know this is not a wonderfull missile, but none are yet. Try to create one yourself and then you will be able to say that mine is trash or good

If the target is not moving in a straight line or really slowly the missile will in most cases miss. Instead of just denying all critique, maybe use it to make a better missile instead.

you should put in the description that this is a pure proportional guidance missile, not great against air targets

I called it AAM because it use a proximity fuze to destroy target instead of an impact sensor, it was not made to hit ground target but made to be able to damage air target even if the missile miss it.

In general a good missile against stationary or slow moving ground targets. I just don't understand why you made it look like an Air to air missile and also named it AAM when it obviously is for AGM purposes. I would recommend you make one that looks more like an AGM-65 Maverick.

That is a common theme among the 1x1 missiles, if you want something that hits consistently get an APN/EPN 3x3 missile

Dont expect it to lead the target like a real air to air so it only works when you are behing or in front of the target
I think this one is still doing better than the other I tested... at least it's the only one that had damage the target enough to kill them

After a ton of launches against my friend on his plane, this has not hit once. It's a great concept in the logic but it doesn't seem to be effective
