afaik it simply doesn't as it's designed around vanilla afflictions.

(Not to mention it's also not updated for latest version of the game so it may simply not work altogether)

yea demon i have been enjoying this as it seems to be a very nice soft replacement for neurtrauma cybernetics (great for when we are doing a run and DONT want to suffer with neurotrauma)

It's alright. I'm fine with people doing derivatives of my stuff most of the time (as long as things are credited if it's based on more than just concept).

(Especially considering this mod is long overdue for an update or two and people seem to like it still)

I don't really have much time to currently work with Barotrauma (or Factorio, as apparently there is also a need risen) so there weren't updates in a whole while in my mods.

But, afaik, devs change afflictions system in last patch.

About organ damage - i can repeat my old comment:

Just noticed something.
It seems I can't sell nanite injections.
Tried Merchant and Medicine Merchant.
Injections aren't on the list.
This is intentional or not?

truly interesting mod idea i like it a lot, i look forward to ideas for other xeno nanites since we already have husk as an option for very similar effects, not really sure what a compatibility patch for neurotrauma would look like for this but it's quite cool to have a more mechanical upgrade path

No, I don't have a husk mods.
I'll try to understand in the process of the game in which cases the problem manifests itself. Maybe under the influence of a clown's aura or something.

This all is very weird information. Especially the asclepius bit, are there any weird husk mods that could potentially change things over in your game? As for 30/31 problem, unsure what exactly causes it, but it may be something to do with not enough affliction added from one injection. I'll bear this in mind when I get back to the mod. Asclepius bit doesn't look like something my mod should cause though, but I need more context to be sure.

Also recently there was a strange situation where I injected the Asclepius nanite into an infected character. The infection rate was successfully reduced and the character was cured. But after a while, he began to feel sick, bleed incurably, and exploded.
I have no idea what it was, the first time I see this.

Or again I did not understand something. Now I tested Kalsit again - the second dose raised the level from 30/60 to 31/60 and stopped. No other nanites have been introduced to the character recently.
The third dose continued to increase level (32, 33, 34...).

Retested with updated BetterHealthUI mod. Works correctly for the most part, I initially misunderstood the problem.
Now it seems to me - If you inject strictly one by one - everything works correctly. If you inject different nanites in parallel, sometimes problems arise, after the injection nanite stat gets 1% and stops there (30% to 31%, from 40 to 41%, etc.), and you need to inject a new dose so that the percentages begin to increase further.
But this is not a critical issue.

1. It's weird since I've been pushing all the nanites to 100%. For some (Asclepius), this required more doses than stated. Others, like Kaltsit, sometimes got stuck at 31% on the second dose and had to take a third shot. But maybe it was a bug - a conflict with the BetterHealthUI, which was updated today. Let's see.
2. Yes, I've corrected it in my local file. I just decided that I need to notify the author of the mod that the problem exists.

1. You cannot inject more than there are "levels", so if nanite has 2, 40% is it's actual maximum, injecting more will not increase percentage over.
2. You are right on the problem with Kaltsit, I suppose. I wasn't playing barotrauma for a while now, so I am not surprised things changed and character afflictions no longer get treated by nanite in the torso, which I missed.

I don't really have much time for modding currently, due to electricity problems in the region, so that will have to wait, unfortunately.

But still there are questions. Possibly related to the fact that I use the Better Health UI mod.
If a nanite has only two levels, but when injected, replenishes the scale by 20% at a time (40% in total), will the remaining 60% give something? And won't the nanite work at all if I use three more doses?

@uwu, you can look at precursor affliction. Every nanite affliction increases decay by a specific amount, and precursor decreases it. You can tinker with how much precursor decreases decay if you so wish to adjust specifically this. (Note that afflictions are weird and that numbers in xml are not exactly right in-game)

Is it possible to alter the local mod files to increase the amount of injections you can have? If so, how can this be done? I'm running a singleplayer campaign with extremely high difficulty thanks to other mods so I want to pump myself full of nanites beyond what can normally be done once I get to the ludicrously hard late game areas.

Figured. Still that doesn't solve the fact that improved husks seems to have different id for it's affliction, so that has to be handled on my end when I get to it again.

Oh hmm, I assume it has to do with Improved Husks then, unless you can confirm it happens without the mod too. Not a fix *I know* of that you can do, unfortunately. I'd take a look at it if I had the time, maybe at some point.
