great leap forward sequel

map was pretty cool like all the different ways you could go, one cool thing to add would be a hardcore mode as we found the map easy and made it hard to pay attention too thanks for the content man!!!!

I got mixed feelings about this map.

On the one hand i love the setting and the visuals, the idea of giving a proper intro map that Victis was missing from b04 is a great idea, and I think the idea of jumping from tall buildings to street level with jumppads is a fantastic one.

On the other hand, the main EE including Doom collectables and filling up a doomguy soul box feel very out of place with the map's intended tone/atmosphere. Same goes for the Shawn of the Dead winchester and FNAF random perk machine. The map can be difficult to navigate remembering which jump pad goes where, and zombies can easily get stuck walking around the map, resulting in sometimes waiting 8+ minutes for a horde to suddenly appear because they were stuck in the zombie only areas.

The EE was fun up until the final segment. Not having any kind of ammo drops or point gain is downright brutal for needing to do 6 soul boxes in a row, especially when they all require a sizable amount of kills.

This map has a lot of potential and is fun, however the end of the Easter egg steps truly taper off and just become aggravating. For some reason zombies won't give you money during lock down and soul-box steps which means if you run out of ammo you are done. A four perk limit really makes this map unfun, even with the wunderfizz arcade getting perks back sucks. the wonder weapon is a pos and your dead before it even works.

6/10. Great leap.

Was excited to see if this was touching on the ether story more from what was described in description, however map lacks a lot of detail. Its fun but if your looking for something on to par with AAA+ quality this map doesn't offer it. Weird rooms and for some reason there is a huge mix of old technology and future technology, just doesn't seem to make much sense or have much polishing.

I like this map, but it's main problem is the environment. It doesn't feel like an actual city, especially with the weapons and technology from the future, cars from the 1920s and zombies from the 1800s.

An okay map, Not a worth EE to do. its not interesting is what i mean. has you go fill soul boxs then go punch shit which seems so uneventful. Even solved the 4 symbol machines not even looking at the locations cause its a simple jumble.

just went to round 100 highly recommend this map

zombie spawns could be better but I really enjoyed this map

map is pretty solid, i actually really enjoyed the vertical play of this map and the wide open roof top right before the deadshot area was amazing to train and was really enjoyable. beat it on round 31 after finishing the EE. fun stuff :)

its okay, routing for the zombies isnt great tho

solid map, i found out if you have mule kick but only have two weapons, when you go to upgrade to the galvanic keg, you get to keep the newtonian negator too lol

terrible map round 24 no max for 10+ rounds. easter egg wont give you points on certain parts terrible design choice. imo save your time download a better map

the map design was cool, but the weapons are super unbalanced. an unpap'd ak47 wall buy shouldnt be an insta kill on round 30+

@TOASTER unfortunately i no longer have access to the map anymore and cannot do updates on it as it’s been almost a year. But it’s a noted flaw and it’s a shame we didn’t catch it when making it

huge design flaw during lockdown to death step; because the round doesnt end, if someone fully bleeds out, they can't respawn, which means you can't continue since you need all players. fix this

TLDR; camp PAP room with scav for easy round 100

The ideal round 100 is 4 player lobby with explosives (primarily scav) sitting in PAP room, shooting the scav at the roof or hatch if you have other kinds of explosives every 45 secs to a min.

ALSO, you should get upgraded monkey bombs because you can actually throw it up there

ok so ONLY the scavenger can hit through roof, but explosives can still hurt zombies if you shoot at the hatch.

imma experiment further to see if this works with the china lake (i mean if it hits the zombies, probably won't kill round 50)

after thinking for 2 mins, the IDEAL round 100 strat is for 4 people with scavengers in PAP room, unPAPed (only PAP when out of scav ammo) where the 4 people take turns shooting the roof where the zombie horde is crowed on top.

found a cheese strategy, if anyone wants to do a high round sit in PAP and all of the zombies will be directly above you, where you can just shoot your scavenger and kill them all through the roof

Im not necessarily a bad player, my rng is just ass sometimes. It took me an hour and 13 mins just to get monkeys from box and i had everything else i needed but that

@FaZe Flick This map IS finished, any bugs or glitches in it are due to what I did and didn't know as of the time I released it. This map is fully capable of going to decent rounds, and setting up and the EE I found relative ease with. I hate to say it, but sounds like a skill issue

I heard this map is unfinished. If I am right, please work on it. I'm trying to high round on this map with a full setup along with doing the ee and it is stressful to do both while getting everything i need at the same time.

@NitroBomb65 Never had an issue with it + the ee isnt meant to be an easy one. If you have the upgraded scavenger it should be easy to set up zones to kill the zombies in all 8 soul spots

Was enjoying the map until it came time to fill the souls around the map. Even with all perks, and PaP guns I still got my ass handed to me. Dial it down on the zombies(or at least remove the exploding zombies). Also PHD doesn't help you at all against the exploding zombies, so hope you can see where you're running with all the damn explosions.

Jump pad simulator, too big and pricey

this map reminds me of left for dead, idk why but it's a good map

i love this, the gameplay feels really tight, zombie spawns seem really well thought out. it's a huge map but none of the doors feel especially overpriced and there are plenty of good wall buys along the way. fun references that don't detract too much from the immersion. thanks a ton for the map friend. i wonder if you'd ever consider updating it with the zombies from die rise or tranzit? i get used to it but the buried zombies sorta throw me off a bit. other than that small thing i think it's fantastic. (cool easter egg song too by way)
