Hmm, most definitely an update thing. I’ll have to look the mod over and hopefully fix the issue. I’m a little focused on some other things at the moment, but if the issue persists, I recommend disabling the mod until I can address it! But rest assured that I will get to fixing this mod in the near future!

Whatever I do, I can't get this mod to work properly. It's fine with the normal characters, but when I switch to the tainted characters, all the words and stats are jumbled together and messed up. I disabled all mods that change the UI and this issue still persists.

Hey @Adamo2499, so sorry for the delayed response, I've been busy with college work and my upcoming music album release "The Blue Hour" as my artist name, P-Wave. As for the issue, the names not appearing is usually a result of another mod overriding the files used to load up the names during boss loading screens. The only file that manipulates these files is player.xml, so keep looking around in your mods, and confirm that there is no other mod overriding player.xml. Something I do to see which mod causes problems (which although is tedious, but effective), is disabling all your mods, enabling one at a time, while having my mod enabled, then seeing if the loading works. Hope this helps and again, so sorry for the delayed response!

Can you guys help me? I tried to get Tainted Names on VS Screen but I don't get that. I've checked which mods other then that use players.xml. I found out that mods are Fancy aqepo Costumes and Andromeda. I turned them off and run game, but it also don't work. Am I doing something wrong or am I missing something?

@uber_shall I tried out samson in my game (cause I also have child's heart unlocked for him), and it seems to work normal. It's most likely another mod that messes with character changes.

after i unlocked samson feels healthy(child's heart) the game crashes everytime i start with samson, i dont know if it was this mod or one of the others, but if it is then try fixin' it

@Viewbob it's not hard, just very tedious. It mostly involves grabbing the PNG of the portraits and using Photoshop to position the portraits in the right spot so they don't clip into each other in the select screen. Whenever I get free time (cause I'm pretty busy with college at the moment), I'll see too it!

After checking through the portraits, I don't seem to notice a problem regarding apollyon's portrait. If you mean that you could see the portrait through the forgotten, it's because the portrait itself is clear to show that the ghost is clear. It's purely for aesthetics. If this isn't that you meant, then it's most likely that you have another mod installed that messes with portraits, hence giving you a overlap of portraits. Hope this helps!

I can try but Im not very great with words: When ever I would scroll over to the characters after apollyon I would see the apollyon character portrait for the characters after such as forgotten bethany jacob and esau

@wolffang10210 could you rephrase that? I'm a bit confused as to what you mean.

I noticed that after apollyon the characters start to reflect. the forgotten bethany and jacob and esau arent visibleand instead take the portrait of apollyon/keeper for some reason.

@Radnom Encounter, So I took a look at the Max scale settings and set it to 3 like you did (I personally set it to 4), and it seems like everything is fine. It could be a problem on your end and some mods that are conflicting with my mod. If you happen to have any other mods that mess with how things are set up in the character select screen, it's most likely that. Hope that helps!

LOVE this mod, but when playing on MaxScale 3 the Button prompt to press E to swap tainted characters in the character select overlaps the stats. Please fix this, as I play on MaxScale 3

@TheRedBoxerki It usually means that another mod that messes with player.xml is overriding my mod, so usually the solution is to just disable the one that's causing the problem

Yeah, that tend to happen when the mods involved mess around with the player.xml files. That just means adding whatever is in that mod's player file into this one, so I'll see to it!

For some reason, this mod is preventing aqepo's graphical tweaks' Eden sprite changes from working. Can you try to make your mod compatible with it?
