INSIDE's Revamped Character Portraits + Accurate Stats + Tainted Names

描述
Combining Tainted Names from wampXs, Eye Eye, and Norg's Portraits, AND Connorsseur's Accurate Character Select mods, I give you this: INSIDE's Revamped Portraits + Tainted Names + Accurate Stats!

I've seen how everyone always asks to have updated portraits combine with tainted names, but no one seems to be able to do it, so I did it, plus I recently ran into Connorsseur's Accurate Charatcer Mod, so I decided to bring it in too! This takes the best portraits from Eye Eye and Norg's portraits (with some additional design changes by me), the extra stats mod from Connorsseur and not only the tainted names from wampXs, but entirely NEW designs for each tainted name based on the character's abilities!

Also included is an optional "Vanilla" menu which replaces all the cool, awesome changes I made, with the boring vanilla portraits, but accurate stats are kept ( Jk, the og portraits are great too)
You make the changes by taking this path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Binding of Isaac Rebirth\mods\INSIDE's Revamped Character Portraits + Accurate Stats + Tainted Names\resources\gfx\ui\main menu, and renaming the files named "charactermenu" and "charactermenualt" with their respective counterparts.


Please check out Norg, Eye Eye, Connorsseur, wampXs', and everyone else's mod I might end up combing with this mod since this will be built off of their work (I just wanted to contribute in some way :) ) :

Just a heads up, these changes could be overridden by other mods that change the menu such as Naruy's Character Overhaul, so if something seems off, it's probably cause of that.

Hmm, most definitely an update thing. I’ll have to look the mod over and hopefully fix the issue. I’m a little focused on some other things at the moment, but if the issue persists, I recommend disabling the mod until I can address it! But rest assured that I will get to fixing this mod in the near future!

Whatever I do, I can't get this mod to work properly. It's fine with the normal characters, but when I switch to the tainted characters, all the words and stats are jumbled together and messed up. I disabled all mods that change the UI and this issue still persists.

Heyo! I’ll look into it at some point. Usually things like conflicting mods tend to make the game crash, but since the game’s gotten a few updates I might need to give it some maintenance!

Crashes the game when starting as Samson or Tainted Apollyon.

Strange bug: Post-patch Birthright effects (I tested with Lilith) do not receive pickup descriptions, replaced by "???". I have confirmed it is caused by this mod

Hey @Adamo2499, so sorry for the delayed response, I've been busy with college work and my upcoming music album release "The Blue Hour" as my artist name, P-Wave. As for the issue, the names not appearing is usually a result of another mod overriding the files used to load up the names during boss loading screens. The only file that manipulates these files is player.xml, so keep looking around in your mods, and confirm that there is no other mod overriding player.xml. Something I do to see which mod causes problems (which although is tedious, but effective), is disabling all your mods, enabling one at a time, while having my mod enabled, then seeing if the loading works. Hope this helps and again, so sorry for the delayed response!

Can you guys help me? I tried to get Tainted Names on VS Screen but I don't get that. I've checked which mods other then that use players.xml. I found out that mods are Fancy aqepo Costumes and Andromeda. I turned them off and run game, but it also don't work. Am I doing something wrong or am I missing something?
