@jostvanwair
The flank functionality from the command menu is not able to be replicated via script, so moving to a flanking position was the best option.
Why are the flank commands the same as move commands? I really want to be able to order a team of AI to just flank right and follow my formation, but instead they move right and stay put.

@Guerillasmurf
If the open fire command doesn't work then I do not know how to force the gunner to fire.
@Asaayu
In a tank crew I can get the gunner to target a enemy tank but not open fire.
Do You know how?
Hi.
Thank you for this mod.
Does it work with vehicles like controlling a tank unit?
nvm i tested it and i have to say, probably one of the best mods out there this is amazing. its so good in fact i feel like this should be in the base game, makes commanding sooooooo much easier thank youuu
i know its probably a silly question but antistasi changes alot of ai behavior and commands and this would be the perfect addition to it
so can I still use the manual commands along with this mod. Im doing antistasi and would like to use some of their custom bot commands while also using this for simple commands.
Asaayu  [
@☠ Kibbe_Surdo ☠
The mod uses the built-in land command, so there most likely isn't any way to fix the issue other then using your workaround sadly.
Hi, your mod has become a staple in my arma experience I cannot play without it, thank you for that, Is there any way I can make helicopters land when I tell them to land with SOG prairie Fire Slicks ? They don't seem to obey, they simply hover and get fired on , I did find a workaround which is to order them to turn the engine off but they won't land in a specific safe spot or if they do its very far away from the position I told them to land (which was the position they were hovering on when I would tell them to "land" with the mike)

Sorry for the long comment, is there any way I can workaround this issue other than turning off engines ?

@dylan.louvain.williams
Then once those steps are all done you can start Arma 3 with the mod and CBA enabled, making sure to disable battle-eye in-case it blocks the mod from loading. Then you should be able to start a mission in the editor and use the options in the pause menu to test the speech recognition and open the speech training and sound settings if you need them.
Asaayu  [
@dylan.louvain.williams
First you'll need to make sure you have a compatible language installed, as an example "English (United Kingdom)". You can see what languages you have installed by searching "Language Settings" in your start menu. If you don't have either English United States, or English United Kingdom installed then you'll need to click "Add a language" and install either one. Once installed you'll want to make sure you have the voice recognition section for that language installed as well. In your list of installed languages, click the three dots on the right and click language options, and under speech recognition make sure you have basic speech recognition installed, you can also installed the enhanced speech recognition, but I don't actually know what it does/add. Once that's installed you may need to restart you computer for them to be fully setup.
dylan.louvain.williams 9 月 30 日 上午 11:08
Hey guys, I am rubbish with computers, does anyone have an idiot guide for me to install? I can't seem to get the speech recognition (or voice as its now called) to work on my pc.
Asaayu  [
@Wuzi
Most likely not, as it's dependent on functionality provided directly by the Windows operating system.
Wuzi 9
is there anyway i can run this on steam deck/linux
I cannot express how much I love this mod. I wish it was a little more comprehensive in the command list, but it is truly one of the greatest mods I've ever used.
Asaayu  [
@bondiboi12
I've just tested on my own machine and it still works in Windows 11 v24H2. The Windows Speech Recognition Microsoft is referring to is the application they provide with Windows to allow you to control your PC with your voice, not the underlying functionality provided through .NET used by the mod.
doees this still work as windows speech recog is outdated now instead win 11 uses voice access ?
Theoria 8
killing my self!!!!!!!
Zask 8
Is this mod compatible with Antistasi ultimate, read some prior comments that suggested it might not be, have those issues been resolved?
Asaayu  [
@Theoria
No, it uses the built-in speech recognition introduced with Vista I believe, so that won't be possible.
Theoria 8
Are you able to use an alternative to the microsoft speech recognition? I'm running this on XP x64 so i dont exactly have the ability to use the windows 10 speech recognition
Stachio 8
this looks like peak arma 3 moding
Hotel_Tango722 8 月 21 日 上午 9:52
this is fucking awesome
Asaayu  [
@SeelieKnight
The only tips I have is enabling "Recognize non-native accents for this language" in your Windows speech language settings, training your computer to understand your voice a couple of times, and ensuring you have the correct microphone set as the "Default communication device" in your sound settings.
Any tips on getting the system to recognize the unit-number prefixes better? For whatever reason, my setup is having major issues distinguishing numbers, like "3" becomes "30", "4" becomes "board", "5" becomes "fire", etc.
Suns 7
i see, but last i checked fire artillery is on vanilla, will there be update on this?
Asaayu  [
@Suns
No, those are all heavy scripted sequences that don't have exposed commands to trigger them outside of the command menu.
Suns 7
are there voice commands for Rearm, Fire on my Lead, Throw Smoke, and Fire Arty at position?
Lucicain 7
I'm suggesting a new command, similar to a heal class command, could it be possible to have the AI get ammo refills by voice?pick up or use weapon on the ground ,something like that.
Asaayu  [
@Lucicain
Yes, those actions don't have any exposed commands to trigger them from a script so they will need to be done manually either through the default communication menu or by hand.
Lucicain 7
One question, are all tactical actions done by the player? It seems that it is impossible to achieve actions such as letting AI plant mines or plant explosives?
Picolino Rebaixado 7
@Asaayu
You are an angel man, didnt realize that you need to say "as", you just made my playthroughs much more immersive and somewhat easier, everyone should give this mod a try.
Asaayu  [
@Picolino Rebaixado
I think the full phrase for that would be something along the lines of "3 get in that vehicle as gunner" if your specifying a specific vehicle and role
Picolino Rebaixado 7
They can get in as a "random" role, but i cannot order X to get in as a gunner, if i say "3 get in that gunner" or similar it just doesnt recognize the role. I have checked the spreadsheet and have use pretty much all sorts of command lines trying to make get in.
Asaayu  [
@Picolino Rebaixado
They should be able to get in as any role via something like 'X get in that vehicle', does text similar to that appear when attemping to get them in?
Picolino Rebaixado 7
Not sure if its a bug, but i cannot order my units to get in a vehicle in a specific role (gunner, commander, driver).
Asaayu  [
@Vkayen:ReDЯuM
It should get auto whitelisted by battleye in a few days once enough people try to load it
Redrum 7
DLL blocked by battleeye again
Jesion 6
creazy question /suggestion = is it possible to add comands from "action tab" (6). I know they are mostly context commands. It would be nice to have an option to order "Asamble UAV" so the AI with drone backpack assable it or "defuse that mine" so the AI with toolbox disarms it.
Da Old Man 6 月 18 日 上午 5:15
ya, perhaps 2 version of this great mod? Your mod is great, pairing with his scripted command would be a perfect pair. Wishful of me perhaps.
Asaayu  [
@Da Old Man
Not exactly, since that would mean it'd then become required to use the mod.
Da Old Man 6 月 17 日 上午 3:10
Is it possible to have this mod support Johnny Boy's SOG AI command ?
Asaayu  [
@J U S T
No, it uses Windows Voice Recognition which I don't believe is available on Mac OS
Will this work on MAC version of Arma3?
Kolloross 5
The mod gods must´ve heard me, most commands suddenly work now. The mods just seems to be really terrible at numbers, but i can live with that.
Kolloross 5
I can pass the test with ease with >90% but for some reason it barely functions in actual application. "1" somehow becomes "8" and "2" is recognized as "built" and so on. Below 5 percent accuracy for most things. I got the language pack installed, but it didn´t change a thing.
Asaayu  [
@LGameD3
There were plans for full audio localization, but currently they're on hold due to time constraints.
Asaayu  [
@Mr.White
I believe some people have tested Antistasi and there were some crash to desktop issues that occurred, I haven't had the time to fix them so they may still occur if you do give it a go.
Asaayu  [
@george droid
The speech recognition audio is designed to only recognize the phrases displayed to you on the screen. The main recognition engine has a much larger complicated grammar tree of possible options that it can recognize. You may need to enable "Recognize non-native accents for this language" in your Windows speech language settings, train your computer to understand your voice a couple of times, and ensure you have the correct microphone set as the "Default communication device" in your sound settings.
