The only spot where the witches are borderline immortal is if you skip the elevator :)
But you can't even finish the map if you skip it, because all entrances to the gas station are blocked.

Okay, adding more witches is fine, but making some of them practically immortal by giving them billions of HP? Hell nah.

Looks like not much, but it noticeably increases zombie count. Also it feels like map have more hordes. I don't understand why you want to make your version harder than the original. My main complaint is still the darkness. Look at the Dark Carnival or any other official night map. They are dark but fine while your version is dark to the point where it becomes annoying and unfun.

Oh well finale, yes. Because camping on the roof is way too easy if the common limit wasn't raised. But for the regular gameplay, it remained the same.

I opened campaign vscripts, there are more zombies for sure. Finale hordes size is insane. And yes i didn't expected it to be SO dark.

Zombie spawn rates and limits have not been modified.

As for the darkness... Ever touched grass at night? You'd know its dark at night.
And its not even nearly as dark as most other horror games out there.

You cannot enter the diner if you skip the elevator. There's a trigger that makes the diner unable to be entered. Even if you noclip into it, the saferoom door is uncapable of closing.

Considering they're at the burger tank while you're at the gas station, and there are buildings in between you two. No. You cannot see them.
But you can hear them, and see what they did.

No rain and pool but much darker!! Can't see nothing without flashlight. Besides The lay out of the map didn't change lot from the original hard rain.
And I'm curious about this change: 'items added by another group of survivors which died', can we actually see any sign of them?

Not too bad. I actually liked how it got darker and darker, kept me on my toes. All the other changes were pretty good.

Hell-Town: To Hell and Back

First map having no supplies, and then you suddenly hear gunfires in the distance, and then you come back to Burger Tank having lots of them. That's some detail right there. I also like the reworked areas of the mill itself.

I played this with Winter Wonderland and the snowy environment clashed with the darkness of the campaign. I love it.

Was really hoping since we started out with guns and kits in hand already that we'd remembered to get the gunbag, and that the finale would start via firing the flares that were in said gunbag rather than turning on the sign. Miserable to play with bots, especially since the witches persist into the third chapter. Other than that, pretty solid map.

Suffice to say this custom map turn out quite interesting, a darker environment, no water slowing survivors down, no rain or storm, additional godspot on finale (an exclusive spot for pre-TLS). The only downside are weird echo sound/voice effect? Also playing with bots can be a huge mistake.

@kemonirules you see i would listen to ur comment about the mod but bro you called cold stream one of the top 5 maps ur obviously overdosing on ♥♥♥♥ and needa go play better campaigns cuz cold stream ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ SUCKED

Hard Rain is one of the best maps and in my opinion this mod makes hard rain looks bad like dark carnival bad but at least its not as bad as blood harvest. Tip don't remove cold steam waters because cold stream is the top 5 map of all time so removing the water is like removing heart of Walmart

That's just personal preference.
I replaced the water gimmick with progressive darkness.
Take a look at my swamp fever edit where I took the water out and did not replace the gimmick. People dislike that because its too easy.

No would not. I didnt have problem playing this but campaigns that has Day time (mid day I guess) is better

if you could easily see everything, it would be way too easy.

The bad thing from this custom remastered oficial campaign is always on night time, not the afternoon as oficial campaign have
