Thanks. That was the hope for it. If there are any further suggestions for tweaks to balance or anything lemme know. I've been trying to playtest it as much as I can but I am only one person.

I like it. The defense does enough at the start but it doesn't go overboard, so the midgame seems to be barely affected. I love that it's thematic.

Thanks for the suggestions. I had actually meant to make the dryad queen get a centauride commander in the last update, I just think I forgot (just fixed it and will roll out update). I'll take care of that because I did notice that. As for the Cloud Lords I haven't played them a ton so wasn't sure what all they had access to beside the recruitable units.

As for mods downloaded from the workshop they end up in steamlibrary>steamapps>workshop>content

Yay, nice mod. I wanted thematic, unique defences that are not strong enough to prevent early conquests - this one suits my needs well. Although if I could, I'd modify at least 2 things in the file (oddly enough, I don't find any downloaded mods in the mods directory) :
- I'd remove the spawn boost from stationary satyr commander (to not give the dryad a free early game boost)
- I'd replace cloud lords airya spearmans with one Roc (early game for this class is kinda rough, simmilar to the enchanter who gets powerful animated balistas). Also, sheds or other flying monsters still would demolish 10 airyas. Although I know such attacks rarely happens (if at all).

I found in testing that the AI was dying much less to losing their spawn to indies, but were still suiciding into indies and losing early due to no commanders. I decided after much deliberation to add a stationary faction unique commander to each start so even if they suicide their army they can still maybe recover. I was reluctant to do this as it means that their cap has to be taken at some point in the game for them to be removed which alters the win cons slightly, but until either Illwinter fixes the AI or I can figure out how to make the AI less hellbent on dying this is the fix I'm going with.
