FIXED EASY!!! Hi all, stormorks boilers no longer have a pressure node, and a lot of these nuclear reactors used a pressure reading for various safety features... To fix this creation and probably a lot more like it, just see where the boiler "Fluid level" or whatever its called leads to, its likely that used to be a boiler pressure node, they got combined. So just remove any logic related to boiler pressure.

Best of luck, I hope creators realize this and make the required fixes but in the mean time you can do it!

I dont think it works anymore. It wont insert the fuel rod and so the reaction dont happend. Might have been one of the last updates the messed it up :(

That works, but make sure to set the low of the temperature threshold to -100 in case you go near the arctic.

Fix to the Boiler problem. I just put on two threashold gates, one for boiler temperature(high 105, low 0) and one for boiler pressure(High 7, low 0). Then the on/off output of both threshold gates goes into both inputs of an And gate. The output of the And gate goes into one input of a second And gate. Second input of the second and gate will recieve the on/off signal from the Reactor On/Off button at the control panel(so this operation only happens when reactor is running) Finally, the output of the second And gate goes to both pumps that feed reactor coolant to and from the boiler and reactor core. Hope this helps!

Also with this logic setup, you can keep a boiler producing good steam and never blowing up, also you wont overheat your condenser so easily. You can run a single simple closed loop from boiler(completely full of water as it spawns) to turbine/piston to condenser and back with no extra water tanks, pressure relief valves, any valve work, or complicated logic.

Could be the overtemp or overpressure safeties kicking in. Haven't made time to circle back and retune these after the dev revamp altered figures and goofed it.

Hi! It seems that the reactor is broken. It starts up perfectly fine but after a couple of seconds the boiler pressure and temp drops, and the generator goes to about 7. I would really appreciate if you would take a look at this, especially since your reactor is very high quality, compact and reliable and stands out compared to some of the other reactors on the workshop.

Ooops, no if it's not functional then that's not intentional. It may have been unplugged when I was rebuilding things in the last iteration.

I'm curious, but have you intentionally left the overpressure system undone? Is there some problem with it? Or is it just useless?

Not sure what it's run length is--only tested it for 10 mins or so at most, but best guess is several hours or more before it dips below it's rated output. Green represents fuel rod temp, purple represents how much the control rods are being used in percentage.

Im curious, what is the run time for this before it becomes inoperable? Also, what do the numbers in the purple and green represent? Im sorry for the odd question, just getting into nuclear stuff.

I'll probably keep this as-is. There are ISO reactors out there if that's what you're looking for. You could also easily modify it yourself.

Is there any way you could make this ISO connection compatible? I'd love to hook this up to my sky crane and transport it to my mobile ISO bases.

For some reason your generator layout with the battery chargers isnt charging the systems battery... It's nice to have cause isolation but i can't seem to get it to charge even at full tilt.

If this can't be solved I reccomend a breaker to isolate the battery from the generator and a breaker to isolate the systems from the battery so it doesnt drain at idle/off.

Awesome man! I've been working on a higher output version as well for ship needs that I should have finished up today.

Success. Peak is actually 2390 in my experience but they're going strong. I can sail my ship anywhere now due to complete electrical power needs being met for cruising.

In this case I actually only need two of these on my ship to power it now that it's passed certification to make sure it doesnt go 3.6R. Then I can work on my ship without running out of power.

The most updated one should charge itself. There's a charging block in the back that only allows charge one way into the system's power so the user can't go beyond the generator's capacity and drain the system. So as long as you have the latest one as of about an hour ago, you're good.

Should I be concerned that the reactor itself doesn't charge it's own electricity?
