Now I really really want to build a Crow dropship as well as whatever dropship they used for titans in the games.
https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2634884541
I basically made it an amphibious heavy weapons platform.
And I made it as heavy and expensive as possible...
@Obama Bin Laden when the weapons dlc arrives I'll make something very similar to BT
just give it a gun and prepare for titanfall!
it's actually a respectable amount of forward thinking you've put into this creation for use as a logistics platform as at the repair depot, any specialized parts will be right there. so great job all in all.
a free tip i am giving you right now is to to reduce cost of your creations during the weapon's DLC when they have the campaign as i presume it will be like career mode in the existing game. the more cost effective something is, the more of it can be acquired. And also, please do make your creations able to be repaired and rearmed in the field.
This is why I will be making why mech around a scenario that happens time and time again: technicals!
Skipping forward 100 years into the future, logistics mech will be a versatile robot to be altered just like Toyota Hiluxs are today. The situation I'm basing the armed version about is a group of revolutionaries have captured a FOB for their own supply needs. The mech was stationed their along with some spare autocannons that were meant replacing damage ones. So as the rebels needed all the firepower they could get, they decided to turn the mech into a technical.
This is the only situation I figured a mech would ever be used in combat
even if the above issues were solved, a tank will always be faster and cheaper. but it does look cool though.
but i can say while poor in a combat role, a mech would actually find great use in a logistics department to speed maintenance on AFVs. that is the one area in a military a mech would be useful. but even if all issues were solved, it would still be cost prohibitive. the top brass doesn't like expensive things unless they have a purpose that validates their cost----especially if it's a monarchy.
but again good build. but i am not telling you not build the combat version of this, however, you'll find out exactly why i say this when the weapon's DLC comes out.
