i recomend staying in the big part of the escape pod cuz the driver seat is not watertight and you have to give it a bost by driving it a little

A bit sad that the only way it will "Work" is to get rid of the escape pod, that way it can actually dive and stay under water. Or I'm just not using it correctly.

so i just found out that the escape pod prevents the sub from diving for some reason if you launch the escape vessel the sub will shortly dive right after

pro tip: for quick ascension, turn the depth thruster OFF.
i've noticed that turning the depth thruster off seems to rapidly accelerate you to the surface.

I can't seem to make it dive? I was able to once, but after the underwater update for some reason it doesn't work anymore even though I did everything I did before!

any chance we can get a button for the inner hatch to open and close it. i cant close it when im on the ladder which means i cant get into that compartment again after i enter the sub for the first time.

Minor update, added heater to escape pod, changed attachment to a hardpoint and added physics flooders- should work better in multiplayer

how ever just before i got submerged i took a hit and didnt realize how much damage i had taken until the pumps couldnt keep up i was able to use the escape pod but it took a while to surface becasue by the time i realized i was sinking i was not able to get the sub to come up and i was a few feet below the original crush depth and i had to swim thro a lot of the sub to get to the escape pod and i was at the deep area so yeah i was in the pod for a while
