The texPath line for the def is the 9th one. You will notice that it points to Things/Item/Resource/LWNT_Nanobots.
Go to Textures/Things/Item/Resource/ and rename the textures (the image and the folder that's being referenced) to NT_Nanobots.
Of course, in any case, just make sure that the 9th line in Nanobots.xml is edited to point to NT_Nanobots (redact LW from it).
Not sure what's causing this, perhaps you are all playing with the patch that was linked here earlier; which might be overriding something, or something else is just overriding it, but renaming the texture folder & .png back to NT_Nanobots seems to have fixed the issue on my end.

In my testing there were zero issues with the mod. Steam has been having problems updating mods recently, but what worked for me was unsubbing, closing Steam, opening Steam, and resubbing again.
Could not load Texture2D at 'Things/Item/Resource/NT_Nanobots' for def 'NT_Nanobots' in any active mod or in base resources.
Added new Nanomedicine item.
Tweaked several textures a little bit.
Nanogenerator provides more power.
Nanoaura now gives 100% vacuum resistance with Odyssey.
