awwww hell yeah! i live in Denver and have visited the air force academy and also have shot track and field at the events center there. Its such a cool place in Colorado Springs.

Oh, before I forget: Lighting

Most of the interior lighting comes from a series of lights that often look like black circles or googly eyes in photos (given that most photos are taken during the day, when they don't need so many of them on) which can be found in lines along the fold on the interior wall. There's one on at the right side of this picture.

On that same fold in the wall outside the front and back windows, they turn them all on and it really highlights the outside of the building, which you can see easily in @RaftermanNZ 's photo. (Kudos, dude! Outstanding shot.)

You will not be able to see the interior of the building at night from the outside, as the windows are all opaque enough to diffuse all interior light, in addition to reflecting the exterior lights.

That said, a view from the side is pretty stunning:

I am impressed by the fact that you managed to get some of the easily overlooked details into this model, such as the downward slope of the ground around the base of the building, and the diamond pattern on those slopes. Very well done.

I got this shot a couple years ago, if you want a light reference, the south side of the building is pretty well lit.
