-Characters with a high Vengefulness personality rating are more likely to get battlefield duel opportunities if a grudge target, rival, or nemesis is in the opposing army
-A character's grudge target, rival, or nemesis is more likely to be picked as a battlefield duel target if present in the opposing army (this applies regardless of personality)
However, I will be updating it soon to add a long-awaited feature, but I'll do so after Tuesday in case an update is required for the Coronations patch.
Introducing some weighting for available rivals/nemeses as battlefield duel targets is a great idea and I'll throw it in shortly (it is already there for things like "does the AI decide to kill you if they beat you?" or "what is the stress impact of a given post-duel choice?")

My fisrt Jamuka game just ended in a spectacularly way. I surely gonna win a war with Temujin but got killed by him in a single combat instead. lol
@Tito: the "leading from front" status is defined in common/scripted_triggers/msc_scripted_triggers.txt.

would you be so kind to tell me which file i need to edit to bring the 15 prowess treshold down a bit?
I just checked and most characters had between 5 and 10 prowess.
i dont think any other mod tampers with battle events and I have yours pretty low in the modlist, the only ones even lower being VIET, RICE, CFP, EPE, CE and its compatibility patches.

Being captured on its own just gives the prowess penalty - it's mostly a way to remove them from the battle without making you re-raise them as knights if you win.
Assuming that you're not having knights lose three duels in a single battle (which will kill them regardless of the deadliness rule), is there perhaps some other mod loading after this one overriding the single_combat_events.txt file? I think it would still _work_ in that situation but some of the functions added by this mod like that would break.
@Uncle: I should be able to add something like that pretty quickly, I'll see about slipping it into the 1.15 update.
