In the mod's files you should be able to find a bigbook anm2 file, deleting it will give the old animation speed back

You can find the location of the mod in your
Documents/My Games/The Binding of Isaac Repentence+/Mods
folder

Since it replaces the animation entirely- and gameplay is paused while it plays- I can't dynamically control the animation without altering the file itself (Though, I could probably pull it off with repentogon)

Thanks for this, appreciate the no flies option especially.

My only qualm is I do like the "'Big book' Animations (actives like d4 and eternal hearts)" and wish there was an option to keep those normal.

On a personal level, it does de-value the time investment of the game, but in equal parts I don't think walking into a slot machine for 2 minutes is quality gameplay exactly

There is a lite version that speeds up animations that play while the game timer is paused, if you'd like to use that instead, link up above

That's due to no hostiles, so this would effect the red flies from red chests, too. So long as the room is cleared and you can go to and fro. If you want the fly to start spawning again you can toggle it using the mcm config ingame (for niche use such as midas touch)

with this installed, the flies from chunky poops just dissappear when they're destroyed (specifically eternal flies from reworked monsters mod, i havent tested without)

The mod has been updated to no longer print errors if you run it with Repentogon, let me know if anyone has any problems. It should now be fully compatible with Rep, AB+, Rep+ and Repentogon.

Time machine is its own mod, this mod was made before time machine. You can use time machine plus or this mod but its a bad idea to use both

I've uploaded a patch and changed the way the mod kills flies as a compatibility patch, however no hostiles shouldn't have been active in the first place. I've also added support for the hell game. As always after any update please let me know if there are any bugs.

I also spawned in enemies that spawn flies such as a swarmer and various mulligans without any crashes. If you're playing with mods that add enemies, please disable no hostiles

I'm currently not getting any crashes spawning flies with the console. If you're experiencing crashes turn no hostiles off and tell me what mod is causing the conflict. I'm not getting any console errors either. All of this is testing on Rep+

If you summon something with the console the room doesn't close. If the room is closed, no hostiles turns off. Causing a crash with the console won't be patched.

You can find out by summoning fly from the console in a purely vanilla state with the corresponding mode.
It disappears immediately upon summoning.
A monster that intentionally summons a fly will cause the game to crash when the fly is summoned.

There is an error summoning fly(13.0.0).
In the case of husk monsters related to fly, the game will crash if you try to summon fly.

It's the same premise yes but works with the shell game and blood donation based things, I made it as a personal project and it grew over time- this mod pre-dates time machine.

haven't had many issues reported so just keeping it the way it is. Does it work with mcmp?? If mcmp required completely different code to run it would be a pretty annoying mod to push as the new main config menu
