use brutalist graphics and weather mod instead gives you same stuff even better i think works fines no issues and updated

Does this help with the clear night time skybox? That's the one I have the biggest issue with. It looks so bad and flat like GTA 3 for PS2 bad.

I added this mod but now my sky is all red and I cant fix it even after unsubscribing to the mod, any ideas on how to fix this or what I did wrong?

Allow me to reply to Deebz's comment (Steam decided not to notify me for any comments here for some reason). This mod definitely didn't turn out as well as the high-res trailer skins and I nearly didn't release it because of that. The AI definitely struggled a lot more with these than the trailer skins which have clear lines. There's nothing I can really do to fix that besides waiting for the technology to improve, or for SCS to stop shipping the game with woefully low res skyboxes.

Good idea for a mod, but sadly it introduces noticeable banding between similar colors. The vanilla sky textures don't have this issue quite so badly. Perhaps an artifact of the upscaling itself, or simply an incorrect DDS format being used.

A lot of artefacting and pixelation, the Gigapixel AI used for upscaling is a hit or miss, mostly miss in this case...

Hi folks, I have released update 1.1 which should fix the occasional weird "joins" between clouds and other strange artefacts like that. If you still see some let me know.

trainguy: This mod is not a Weather, it does not modify the weather files, it only modifies the textures.

Yes I am aware of a few upscaling issues that I missed fixing, an update should come in the next few days to fix this.

The transitions between the colors are much rougher than before.
They might not look the pixelated but the color transitions are now quite visible.
