Man I love the western star 49x after reading your comment is really sad that this isn't going to recive any updates

This mod is over 2 years now. Besides, SCS already added ability to lower your suspension and you can disable the auto-reset of height via console. I stopped modding because I just can't enjoy the game anymore. It has become too laggy for my laptop that it frustrates me every time I enter a city/town, it stopped for 2-3 seconds for like several times.

If you guys' pc can get constant 30 fps or more, then I highly recommend you guys to learn modding. It's fun because you can make your ideas that SCS won't do becomes reality!

Entire hood is still disappearing

Eugenechen13...the lowered chassis isn't compatible with the power hood....you can use the standard chassis with the powerhood and all the extras...

My entire hood disappears completely and I can't add any hoods so I'm stuck with a hood that is gone. I just wanted the lights on the tanks and parts of the truck, but those didn't even show up after I downloaded the 2 mods.

This mod needs update,I can't use the Power Hood when I use the lowered chassis.Besides,my hood disappear completely if I use the lowered chassis

works with the Power Hood/ Australian version if you don't use the lowered chassis, but just want the ability to use the guards and lights on the tanks....

Confirmed. This mod needs updating after the Power Hood release. The hoods, for me it's any hood, not just the Power Hood, will be shifted ridiculously down and forward, or disappear completely.

Good mod, only issue is it is incompatible with the Power Hood update, mod still works but you cannot use the lowered chassis and the Power Hood at the same time

I've run into the same issue. Even when working with vehicles equipped with this mod, trying to upgrade the cab and selecting the mod almost always causes CTD. It needs to be at the top of your mod list to avoid the problem, something to watch carefully as you add other mods.

It would be nice to see an SBA/SFA 8x4 and 8x6 version, preferably with the 5th wheel centered on the second drive axle for those of us who do a lot of heavy hauling.

I know this goes against the grain but I would love to see a lifted "Off Road" spec 49X as I tend to spend most of my time in game either in the oil fields or hauling logs out of the woods where a lift wouldn't look out of place.

@kennysears73: thanks for the report! I just updated it so the tail lights will be there by default. I moved the tail lights from the chassis to the mudflaps because I want to make custom rear lights plate in the future for my other mod. If it's still missing, go to the truck service, and install the custom mudflaps with lights.

First of all, lowering the chassis makes the truck look way better. So to me, it is one of the best mods you can do and you did a very good job on it especially since it is your first attempt at doing a mod like this. The only problem i am having, is when using the lowered chassis the tail lights are disappearing.

Other than that, I want to thank you, because i also use the additional parts and LED headlight mods that you created for the 49X. Which are beautiful mods also!

yep: that's the issue (an other mod for the WS), that causes the crashes - now all works fine!

@2MoshPit : Firstly, do you also use my LED DRL for WS 49X? If so, put this one above it in mod load order. But if you don't, then I'm pretty sure it's caused by another 49X mod you have. I've tested mine and no crash nor error codes in console. If you still can't figure it out, send me your game.log

...crashes my game (latest update) permanently - dosn't matter, wich configuration (cab/chassis) I want to use, but thank you anyways...
