how to deliver cargo? when i drop the trailer or pallet at the location, it doesnt give me the money

I also can't seem to get the game to recognize cargo being dropped off when I deliver to a non-vanilla destination. Also, I started a new game and the cargo damage mechanic for cargo that I had not touched yet caused me to go to $-14k and brick my save because I couldn't spawn anything anymore. Maybe include a mod option to turn that off? It seems too unforgiving when it's calculating every bit of cargo and should only turn into an insurance nightmare for cargo we decide to deliver. For the instances where it did work, it was really fun and well done. It allowed me to use more than just railcars and drones for delivery of big cargo, and actually let me use a small sideboard truck to deliver stuff to a different cargo center.

Over several days, on my server, I had been building up a train in the desert island in the south (had added those stations to this mod...) My most recent save was at Spycakes where I cut in some tenders to the two locos I had been using (using about 2.8 consists worth of well cars...)
I then pulled the train north at about 65 mph and got into this situation where I would lose several containers to CARGO DAMMAGED every time I hit one of those stupid ship bridges. I'm a bit split on whether to blame your system for being too touchy or the bridges for being too stupid.

The addon is great! By chance can you fix the pallets so they can be picked up by a forklift? currently the slots where the forks go dont work

well I went into the stock files and copied the sections for the new island and the remodeled north harbor and cam'do. The trailers and palettes are gone but at least the containers are not blocking the rail lines. Another flaw in my patch is that X-furry is broken because they put an aparatus where the container lot had been. So yeah the next step would be to go into the version of camodo and north harbor in this mod and try to extract more of the modded objects.

kinda got this working with the new DLC, had to patch in some parts from the stock cargo containers for the new / remodeled terminals. Not a flawless patch on my part but the cargo is flowing again.

well, by default the mod makes sure that trailers are only a short truck pull from their destination. If you say that they can be over sea then you need a ferry or a way to load them on a train...

Just a bump on a previous question by Kruzifix (GER) and JohnJ44, but what is "Trailers over sea"? Also, what is the use of "replace containers to trailer" & "replace containers to pallet"?

@NotSoHonestAbe, it's actually pretty easy for the fine fix. Have the fine apply to the money you receive when delivery finished.

I should point out I hadn't noticed this issue before, and I'm now using the SIBTaT replacer, I'm not sure if that's what caused the issue. I can't see how it would, but thought I'd mention it in case.

Love the mod, but I'm having an issue where I drove with a trailer from Sawyer North Harbour to O'neil Airbase and when I got back to Sawyer North all of the cargo still waiting to be transported had fallen through the floor, and I'm getting fined for damaged cargo.

Not sure what caused it all to phase through the ground like that, and respawning the cargo will fix the issue, but it'd be nice if there was a way to stop things like this costing us.

I can just edit the save file to get that money back, but it would still be nice if we could either turn damaged cargo fines off, or like others have said, set it to only affect cargo we're actually transporting (which, yeah, I admit would probably be really difficult, so I definitely understand it not being a feature).

Currently uninstalling until the crippling distant damage issue is fixed. AFAIK id have to start a new game to update the in play script anyway. That said I can see what you were going for and would like to offer constructive feedback.

Suggestions:
1) definitely look into the damages only being applied to the current player operated vehicle

2) make having damage or not be an on game creation

3) possibly have a slider on how much damage

4) wondering if this is on a multiplayer server if every player gets the cash loss. e.g. an $8,000 damage message is applied to all six payers online so the community lost $48,000.

Career mode not creative. Even after the despawn command getting losses of $4000 and $2,500 for far distant cargoes not on board.

Had it repeat on a reload and now trying the ?despawn_all_cargo command to clear them off until ready for them.

My game might be messed as AFAIK even if you do update the mod the script is only loaded at game start to the existing games wont get the update.

Only info I saw was message like Cargo damaged $8,000; $3,000 etc. I actually had ~$13K on hand and went to -$7K. Which would mean if I took my vehicle in I wouldnt be able to respawn it. This again was not carrying your cargo. I was in a boat. Not even a truck.

Really suggest you need to aim that cargo damage thing to only being the stuff the player is hauling like with a player nearby sensor.

Or allow a way to disable it.

There needs to be some sort of nearby player scan on that damaged cargo. I hadn't picked up any of yours when while wind was picking up I got over $20,000 of cargo damage messages. This was a career game and I had $7,000 on hand so that would have killed that game if I didnt revert a save.

Is there a way to turn it off mid-play?

tbh its not bad. i cant tell if the trailers are wrong or my dolly is wrong for sibtat (most likely the dolly) but its a good addon. problem i found. the custom commands dont work. i got it to work once. all im doing is copying and pasting it and its just not working. now the commands probably do work and theres a misspelling or the code is weird. now few things that would make this addon better. 1# use cables. not every truck has comp going straight to the connector. most of them use cables but i guess thats more for the sibtat version. 2# add connectors to the back of trailers. i dont want to just tow one trailer. i want to tow two or three. besides that good addon. better then just the default containers. oh yeah. have the ability to just disable the containers. would be nice if some dont want them. same with trailer and pallets ect ect. would be cool. love to see this addon expanded on.

is there a way to make it so there are no trailers? in addition, it seems that the cargo doesn't last for that long, the timer goes down one minute, then it drops down to the next day, not to the hour.

good mod, needs to randomize the seed each load, whenever I start my server the packages always generate the same orders. (note this is a fresh server launch, not a load of a saved server state).

The Pallets need the other sliding connector on them nearly every vehicle uses the ones on them. Otherwise they would fit the AirISO shape.

Sorry, but this doesn't work very well. I like the variety in getting to deliver packages to more locations, and smaller cargo too (not just containers).
What ruins it is when the physics freaks out and it charges you for damage to packages you've never even touched.
What would be better would be if it subtracts the damage penalty from the payment when you actually deliver it (like ETS2 does).

i think the number of containers was the main cause of the drop. I did not count them and use your command. i would love to have a way to force them to be for certain places so i can use less and save physics.

these are more laggy than official ones. they slow my physics more. other than that limitation they are great.

So... I'm trying to use this, but every time I start a game, it looks like these containers spawn _on top_ of other pre-existing ones, and my game grinds to 0fps before crashing. Is there something I'm missing..?

Great mod however it conflicts with the weapons dlc. Sometimes a container will spawn inside the dlc truck with the big radar dish destroying fps.

And the value of the date is not defined in your case.

I suppose the code at this point should look like this:

Pallets are quite good, I enjoy the rails along the bottom as it allows me to put corresponding grippers in my trucks, trains, and ships to keep everything secure. An improvement would be to create a gap under the pallets so that forklifts can be used with them. I would also desire to see more pallets spawning at terminals and less ISO containers as the ISO containers are more difficult to move for any vehicle and there is simply not enough pallets to fill even a modest cargo hold.
