Okay, I guess the mod game description must be outdated, there were initials plans to make it but it was never accomplished.
Sorry about that, I have to update the in-game mod description.
This mod replaces the vanilla arrow GPS indicator by the truck indicator used in Garmin GPS's.
If what you are referring is a full on Garmin GPS mod, then no, this mod is not that.
That happens when you start the game with OpenGL.
Try using other option, such as directX11.
Yes, the icon also appears in the world map, in the job maps no icon appears just like without the mod.
Just put the mod in the active mods column in-game, and make sure it´s above any other gps mod, or mod that may affect the gps.
The problem is explained in the description.
This mod doesn´t work with Open GL.
Go check it out.
Thank you, ZNMac07.
Thank you for clearing the issue.
I will make an ets2 version this Weekend.
Stay tuned
I've just checked and it's all working fine.
Make sure you have this mod in higher priority than any mod that modifies the gps.
If you are using a truck mod try putting this mod in higher priority too.
This mod only changes one file, which is the player.dds so it's not very likely that this mod is the problem, try changing the mod priority and check other mods that you might have.
What I can do is tell you how to do it yourself, it's really easy.
First you need to get the mod, so go to the drive where you installed steam and go to Steam>steamapps>workshop>content>270880>2430149271. The last two numbers should be right but it can be different for other people.
Inside the last folder is the mod, now you need to get the file player.dds which is in universal>material>ui>map.
Now you just have to open this file with either paint.net or Photoshop and you can modify the color to whatever color you would like, when you're done just save it back as a dds file and put your new modified folder in the mods folder located in documents>American Truck Simulator>mod.
Thank you for your understanding.
