The comments are closed on the hl2 remaster version, just wondering if there's a reason why it breaks halfway through water hazard and doesn't change to the mounted gun version. I've tried everything I can think of and it won't give me the gun.

You have to use ent_setname on the vehicle and set it to something (airboat01) first then perform that command using that name. Think of it this way, you could have ten airboats on a server so it wants a specific named entity instead of just `all` of them

Enabling the body group does show the gun but it does not seem to work, even after typing ent_fire airboat enablegun 1. Is the gun functional?

In order to see the gun you have to do some commands in the developer console on the airboat in order to enable it. There are a few guides on the community hub which can explain it in more detail. Otherwise you can show the gun on the airboat visually by enabling its bodygroup.

There is a replacement version on gamebanana. Usually its best not to replace the base vehicles in workshop addons since= people subscribe to collections. It can break a lot of things like dupes and such.

Can you make these into replacements perhaps?

Im not sure if synergy modified the attachments or the animations in a way that would break it

Very nice, thoguh the pontoons seem weirdly textured. Maybe it would be more realistic for the bottom of them to be slightly cleaner than the top, or possibly the otherway around?

Episode 2 Jalopy remaster please!

oh i was talking about the 'velocity stacks' on the side intakes of the engine. (if you're not sure what i mean by that part name look up 'velocity stacks on engines')

i already knew the top caps were there on the already shitty low poly vanilla airboat engine model as is but yeah looking back on this i'm looking at a AMC jeep stroker I6 engine and i can see the resemblance somewhat. minus the top caps from the 'old low poly vanilla airboat engine' that was just VIRTUALLY just unrecognizable to any real life (marine) engine.

I based it loosely on a AMC I6 engine. Specifically the Jeep Stroker. Most of it was created piecemeal. The topcaps were really just to make it resemble the old design more.

whats the I6 engine based off of unlike the buggy engine being based off a alfa romeo inspired DOHC I4? im seeing racing velocity stacks on the side of it (should they be called that correct me if im wrong) and pretty much a direct straight piped header coming off the exhaust and being dual piped too but not like that matters.
