This mod doesn't really interact with the diplomatic side of aggression, it simply makes the AI more willing to actually engage in combat once you are at war.

Very much so, yes.
Honestly, I kinda like the AI in vanilla Attila, it's ruthless and a real pain in the arse. I understand that nobody behaved like that in the 13th century, but maybe just a little bit closer to vanilla Attila would help.

It does not force the AI to attack fortified settlements, but it increases it's willingness to go up against worse odds. I'm guessing using unlimited ammo makes the balance swing too far in the favour of the defending side?
