@DWBoyGamer I ended up making a mod for Death Toll map 1, if you are still interested

I'm pretty sure nav_use_place is used to set a population (ex. nav_use_place defaultmilltown), my issue is when I try to use my custom population it doesn't show up and I placed my custom population in the addons folder as a vpk. But if you can send me the discord link i'd appreciate it.

@Brick You're definitely missing something as "nav_use_place" is not used that way. I recommend asking for help in the L4DNation discord, as they can help you more than I can.

For some reason the option to use the custom population isn't showing up. I turned my custom population file into a vpk and placed it in the addons folder. When I type in nav_use_place it doesn't let me use my population, I can see all the other ones but not mine. Am I missing something?

@Brick It's better not to replace the real file, and to put your custom file into a "Custom" folder, or make a vpk of it, and put that vpk into your "addons" folder. There are guides online that can teach you how to do these.

@True Boredom Could you make Death Toll map 1 use rural population? Maybe "defaultrural_l4d1" or "ruralstreet_l4d1"? I think it would be logical to see some rural infected there, since rest of the campaign is full of them.
