that would be the roads on eather side of the trenches then? if the map is small or if it is large enough the whole open area beyond the trenches.

Hi, if you start the game with the tiger ace you have terrible fuel income till the tiger ace is destroyed. If you want normal fuel income start with an other player.

I just published a conversion from a coh1 map made by Relic ( which didn't take much work as it is with conversions, almost all the work was already done by Relic ) and currently I am working on a huge map (not a conversion but made from scratch) that will take weeks (if not months) to finish. In the mean time I also want to play the game once in a while :)

So if I make a smaller version of a trench map it will take a while. I'll think about it. You can try this winter version with lower popcap. So less units on the map. maybe that helps. http://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=255194563

can you make a similar map but on a smaller scale? love your work but coh 2 are very demanding for performance.Also the heal point in trenches are slightly complicated to get to.

Yes there is only one kv-1 and 2, only 1 tiger ace etc. The only possibility I had to let players play with these units was to give them to them at the start of the game as they can't be produced or called in.

so you get 1 of every unit that is on bought commanders? i only saw 1 KV-2 and 1 KV-1

Yes, they can't be produced. Thats' why these units needs to be 'pampered', retreated in time because once lost they are lost for ever and can't be replaced. Same goes for the artillery. Once decrewed they can't be recrewed. They start with a 3 man squad. You can make it a 4 man squad by placing a command bunker or drive a truck etc near them

Hi, I can't find the Stug III Ausf E in worldbuilder. The assault grenadiers are there, it depends on what player you choose.

So in this update I removed the supply centers as they appeared now as yellow or blue boxes in game. I also adjusted the starting positions from the bases as the US faction has a full constructed base at the start of the game.

Bad news. Relic removed stuff from the world builder included the supply centers :(
So I have to remove them from the maps now as they appear as blue boxes in game. I fixed already some maps today, i'll fix the rest the coming days.

Supply centers seem to be non-functional with the latest update. It would be a shame if this was the case as this is the best map anyone's ever made, bar none.

At the end of the page you can read .. encirclement doctrine with stormtroopers prob replaced by jaeger light infantry. Above you can read that jeager light inf can pop out of buidlings. Seems that all these commanders mentioned are old and not released yet and are able to change. They also mentioned engineers that are specialized in repairing units but are bad in combat. I found these units also in the worldbuilder but I couldn't make them working. Anyway you can try out the jaeger light inf in this map. Great inf killers I found out and can shoot from long range.

This map (just like it's predecessors 'vire river' and 'reversed defence') are made from scratch by me. Only the last 2 'operation margarethe' and 'gambits down' are conversion/remakes.:)

I tried looking it up, but the only mention of Jagers is the Jaeger infantry package, but thanks for looking for me :). And btw this is by far my favorite map.

@ Icechuck. I don't know if people would like an only night map because the nights in my maps are realy dark.
@ tonabona I didn't make a winter version of this map because I tought that on this trench map it wouldn't make much difference as the troops won't freeze but I can do a day/night cycle version pure for eye candy. Maybe later. Lately I am busy, I worked on a mapconversion and just released it but couldn't even playtest that map fully.

I was playing this map and I noticed a unit called the Jaeger Light Infantry used by AI Germany, it had 2 oak leaves for emblem. Wondering what commander to use to get it, and also, the assault rifles at German spawn dont seem to work and just take away one of the mens K-98Ks.

@ RedSliverDragon. I just had the time to play a game and I noticed that everyone who starts to play with player 5 is affected. So its not the commander or the map. Its the tiger ace that nerfs the fuel income. Its the penalty player 5 gets for starting with the tiger ace. Once that tiger is destroyed everything is normal. So .. player 5 needs to be heavy on infantry to support its tiger ace. There are lots of anti tank goodies to grab in the base like panzerschrecks and atguns also fuel dropped from the air can be taken, you find 2 in each base and on the hills ;)
Player 5 also has a howitzer gun from the start.

Hi RedSliverDragon, so its the commander not the map. If you want to use that tiger ace commander and you don't want the resources being nerfed from the start its better to play with 6,7 or 8 because that tiger ace that you get from the start of the game when you play as 5 triggers the low resource income. Once that tiger ace is destroyed your resource income will be normal (again)
