@leeannamaciver0404 My primary source of inspiration for this ship was the TS Duchess of Montrose (a very similar-looking vessel), but I did indeed use the TS Queen Mary as a source since it's much easier to find reference material for a ship that still exists.

@Metaknight No, because this ship was always intended to be powered by steam turbines. However, given the complexity of steam propulsion and how laggy/poorly optimized this ship already is, I don't really feel like adding any of the new steam components.

That being said, I do plan to build ships that use the new steam engines in the future, it's just a matter of finding time and motivation for them.

@scooze Well, if you're referring to actual mods, it doesn't use any, so I'll take that as a compliment. If you're instead talking about XML modded parts, then yes, this thing is absolutely loaded with them.

@JakeOberon99 Sure, no worries! It sounds like there's probably a hole in either the hull itself or the fuel tanks (located at the bottom of the hull). However, I'm not too sure at the moment.
I'm sure that I can find time (maybe tomorrow or something), so you can send the vehicle file and I can take a look at it to see what's wrong.

Hey Potater, I was going to message but didn’t want to make you uncomfortable! I was editing a new version of the Canada, but the hull has randomly started flooding, and I can’t make out why. I wondered if you had the time and I sent it over- you might know? (Since you made the original hull!)

And yes, I totally agree. However, it took me ~6 months to finally get around to finishing this ship, so I got super lazy and didn't bother with the sinking physics:P

Amazing ship, I certainly could not do better. It'd be great (when sinking) if the ship went down more towards the head at a slower rate.

Oh, and I also cheated a bit and used a few XML modded railing pieces, as using the pivots tend to leave these nasty-looking gaps in between the railing sections.

@Some Stupid Paddle Ship Sure! It's pretty simple, I just used some pivots to move the railings. However, I hid the pivots underneath the deck because they're ugly, so you can't normally see them.

Hey Potater, is it ok if you take the time to tell me how you managed to making the railings move in on the bow and stern when the ship spawns in?

Hey Potater! This is currently my favourite small ship to use on SWs! Would it be okay to re-upload a derivative of this? (with full credit!) I've modified a version into a small liner with passenger cabins (with beds) and a handful of other additions. She's now more like the CGT 1900s small ocean liner SS La Bretagne. @sat2717 I mean, there isn’t really much else I can do about that. I’ve already tried to make it as stable as possible by adding different stabilizer systems and such. I can’t really make this thing any more stable than it already is without changing the entire design of the ship.
In my ship’s defense though, it was designed for operation on rivers, where massive waves and such aren’t an issue. Unfortunately, if you’re looking for a ship that can handle massive waves, this isn’t the one for you.

can you make it a little bit more stable? this is my 2nd favorite ship in the game just behind the ss st crapo. but i like driving ships in storms with big waves and this just isnt very stable.

@gregsynthex Yes, it can definitely sink. Just check the grey panel in the back of the wheelhouse. There are two fairly self-explanatory switches that you can use to sink the ship.

If I can find enough free time, definitely! There's a bunch of ships similar to this one that I want to try building.
