Would it be possible to automate alternator throttle - and to add the constant number into the microcontroller to save space

For some reason the idle RPS is switched with the Driving RPS. Anything I can do to fix it?

Does the Electric starter connect to a electric motor or another piece

idk if its me but the my engine or any engine i make stays st the idle rps

i don't know what i did wrong but the engine won't start, can u think of something that i did wrong?

Hi! Sorry I have not responded to anyone, for some reason steam just decided to not give me notifications for a while, so I missed a bunch. It's been a while since I checked up on my controller so i'm not sure how well it works in comparison to others but I do know it still works. @GrahamO the engine in the photo is something I just whipped up to take a picture for this and test my controllers versatility. If you would like to use the engine I can try and find the file but i've changed computers so i'm not sure if I still have it. @CommanderMartin I have it set up to use 0-1 for ease of use when using a seat to control it. @AUTISMO The electric motor starter is optional and should be connected to the engines output, although this does mean you would need two clutches including the ME one. Again sorry I haven't responded.

i feel stupid becuse the reason that was happening was cuz i used a scoop for intake continue doing it youre good at it

i have a weird problem where the engine is good until 10 seconds after starting rps starts to get really jumpy like constantly dropping and raising up it isnt overheat protection if it was the case the engine wouldnt stop doing it when i turned on infinite fuel which sets the afr to 14 which may be the problem but i dont know

@JohnHimer Trying to use your microcontroller, but it doesnt seem to respond to a throttle the way I am expecting. Does the throttle value need to be 0-1 or 0-X?

What is the purpose of the Electric motor starter I'm unsure what it needs to hook up too

just cos im a pleb, they are not turbos they are superchargers in this case due to it using the engine to turn the impeller. :)

Thanks! I plan on changing it because lots of people have that problem. I didn't include it in the first place because I wanted to make it have faster response but adding an external function adds it anyway.

This runs really well although I am having problems with it only running idle. I see what I have to do now though

To get your engine to run above idle throttle needs to be your target rps. So if you want your engine to rev to 30 rps then the throttle should go between 0 and 30 with a function block if you are using a seat. I'll change that to make it easier to use. I will continue to try to improve and update this based on suggestions and game updates so thank you for your feed back it is always helpful!

it runs pretty well but i only run idle

runs nice on my build but a afr of 12.7 so its running fairly rich. anyway to counter that. other than that works awsome

Thanks for the feed back, I would put pictures of different setups for more clarification but for some reason I keep getting an error any time I try to upload a picture. I will continue to do more testing and update it as soon as I can to keep up with the current version.

works great, with impeller and small electric motor driving it seems to surge alot can you add a picture of your impeller and motor setups that work?
