sadly doesnt seem to work anymore. i tried it but my lyceen still whines

i used this mod for a bit with it workin perfectly fine and then randomly one day it just reverted back to the whines

Isn't there a snarl sound in default starbound? Why not use that?

only some are taken and used from this video here. I used Audacity to cut and replace growls that I found to be fitting for getting hurt.
