To me it also feels like the smoke should not be there but since the original building has it, I'll leave it there because of that.
Which smoke do you mean? Of the main chimney?
You mean that "step" in the middle of the machine hall, right? I understand it would probably look better without it but I don't feel like changing it. It would need too much effort for such detail and overall, it's better to not change models after publishing to eliminate a chance of any kind of model corruption for current users.
There is a small mistake with the binding of the smoke source
The mod is not bad, it's a pity that it came out after RBMK-1500 Nuclear Power Plant. The only thing that would be nice to remove the joints of the docking of buildings they can be seen on the roof of the engine room. (sorry please for my english)
