Using underflow gates helps keep the line open, but bridges do have an internal buffer that can work out too. Both can probably work about as well

It would be really easy to swap out for bridges instead, but the visual of items flowing is nice for newer players.

If you meant the third block itself, rather than distribution, it would be a titanium belt.

The third block would be another underflow gate.
If you're refering to the last block, it is the sorter, you might not have it unlocked in campaign.

What is the third block (belt » underflow gate » <…>)?
If I import your code, then the 3rd block does not exists / is empty :-(

Replacing the sorter with a router will have a possiblity of sending coal to your output line

I added routers inplace of inverted sorters and they now all get coal

I prefer using underflows, to help discourage the usage of routers when they may be worse

@|Takosh|Gaming Gates don`t prevent anything. It works because last sorter is placed before last belt and because total output is not greater than input in volume.

Last sorter type should be set same as output (or as input if inverted).
Every other block can be what you want.

You can Subscribe to download. But i agree it is better when schematic code is posted. Though it is not substantial in this case as it is rather simple.

I'm not sure if I'm able to understand what you are saying, but it currently uses 3 underflow gates, and one sorter.

It may not work as well with other blocks like routers or overflows.

4 machines can work with a copper belt
It easily possible to add more machines, incase you wanted a fuller belt.
Though, I recently came to realize titanium belts handle 11/s, while this can only do 10.66

It should still continue to work fine however due to the ratio of inputs.
2 coal = 1 graphite

Does this then max out that line with the graphite? I currently use an almost identical build that only uses 4 instead of 8 of the machines.
