@Cyril Pustetto thank you Cyril that's great to hear :) work is in progress at the moment. I'm currently working on a major physics revision for the existing cars before continuing. An update for rf2 caused an issue with the front tyres, which is unlikely to be fixed by s397.

@maskownik, same answer than Doddy for me.
For the H shifter, it's something related to the gear protection system made be S397 to avoid fast downshift cheat.
We will see how to manage that because i also think it's a tip drivers where using irl.
Maybe as an option in upgrades too. Stay tuned ;)

@maskownik Thank you :) the mirror issue is known and will perhaps be fixed at a later date if I can get some help on it. Unfortunately, RF2 H-pattern simulation is very limited - it is configured as best as I think it can be done currently.

Mod seems really nice, but I've come across some minor issues.

The mirrors seem to be broken (looking right down at the track). It is also impossible to short-shift in the h-pattern mode (maybe that's a feature, and not a bug?).

Agreeing with others below, these are amazing, best sims of 1986 cars that I have seen (and which are among my all time favourites). PLEASE do the rest of the cars ASAP, starting with the Lotus and Ferrari!

@Luprox Thank you :) The cam you have shown is supposed to be a TV cam and is not really intended for driving. I do understand though the desire to drive from the cam position shown on the Mclaren as it gives a great view of the road. I'll have a look to see if I can implement the high driving cam in addition to the TV cam.

Can you do the driving cam (bonnet) on the Williams like it is on the McLaren. The McLaren is much better!

@Damos Avel Thank you :) Unfortunately the mirrors were done in a way which makes it very time consuming o modify. Updating the mirrors will have to wait until the other cars are finished.

1. Yes I'm aware of this. It is due to a miscalculation I made on how air/drag affects the tyre temperature. The tyres are not getting up to temp generally. Not great and I'm sorry for this error, but I know how to fix this and it will be sorted in the next update.

2. Yeh each car is completely different from the other (other than components that they do actually share like tyres, for example). The Brabham will probably perform better at faster circuits.

3. I have not worked on the ai much other than to make sure they can handle the vehicles as the idea was to balance out the pack once all the vehicles are added .The ai were too fast before the update , but aside from that they were generally well behaved. A big issue with the ai is that they take 0ms to change gear, meaning that they loose no boost pressure during a shift. This was hard coded and a big issue. Everything AI related has changed since the update, but I've been taking a little break and have yet to use RF2 since then so I don't know what's changed. They will be getting attention in the next update nonetheless.

I have some questions:
1) after last updates cars became harder to drive, I struggle just to keep this car on the track...it seems to be unstable cuz of lacking of grip and is very sensitive on acceleration...
2) is there any difference in speed between different cars?? AI on Brabham is faster than Mclaren... how is it possible?
3) AI needs to be tuned
