There's nothing in the code preventing it from being used on any radar target, but it might hit the ground before the target depending on how it chooses to steer to the target. You'd have to test it.

Could bluefin or redfin be possibly used against watercraft or cars? I'm currently trying to come up with a mini game to play with some friends but im needing a aircraft to ship device, without it being a dummy torpedo.

My approach would be to program in a one-turn after firing that steers the missile from vertical towards the laser and once a laser is acquired it switches to a laser-guided mode, before finally switching to a radar guided terminal guidance mode.

hey man, so im still trying to create a working vertical missle. now i got a radar guided laser pointer which could help it guide, thing is the missle in the current state wont follow the laser when launched vertically, is there any setting i could tweak to make it still follow its target after firing vertically? im happy to share it with you after

I dont know if you want it this way or if its just a writing mistake, but those missiles are called SACLOS (Semi-automatic command to line of sight) and not SALCOS .

Btw @Keptin I tried to have it receive target XYZ from a radar vehicle, I checked and the missile is receiving them but somehow the missile just flies up instead of tracking the target. You mind taking a look?

I think it follows the user's manual aim until missile's own radars locked on, or something like that.
