Oddly the sleeveless dustcoat he spawns with (I think that's the name) clips through pretty much any pants he wears, not sure how to fix that

Thank you for the description on how you made this mod! Did you have to do anything special when you uploaded it to steam? I have a bunch of personal mods that have unique chrs but I when I upload them the unique skin isn't attached. Would love to know how you did it!!!!

It's funnier tho if you think of Hobbs at 32 being an "old man" because the life expectancy on Kenshi is so short. Thumbs up regardless :P

FYI, for the curious - some characters have a set body file, but most - even the named ones - are 100% randomly generated on game start. Their race is set (Shek, Scorchlander, whatever) but the body sliders are all the same as if you had them in Character Creation and mashed "Randomize All" a few times. What I did here was take Hobbs to a plastic surgeon, set him to this appearance, Export the character's appearance to a .bod2 file, then used that file to make this mod and override the "random" setting to use my file instead. So, coming soon: alternate Hobbs is Old and Darker

Thanks! I think I will make an alternate version with darker skin - I usually seem him on the paler side so thought of him as a pasty old barfly. It's funny how the first version you see of a character tends to set it in your mind as the "canon" version, even tho it turns out he's totally random.

My Hobbs always comes off as a young black man. Honestly though old hobbs is a good idea no matter the race, and your version looks pretty good

....it should be noted that you can take him to any Plastic Surgeon and change his appearance - which is precisely how I created the .bod2 file used in this mod.

lol now you give me idea for new uipload, "Hobbs is Old and Darker" for people who've only seen him come out on the right half of the skintone slider.

I may move this mod to Nexus, it's stupid that Workshop only allows one file per mod.
